It was also very emotional, for Jin Jin because he said he was feeling low the day before but ZheXu realised inmediately and came to console him. He said Xu always take good care of him. He also cry when giving birthday greetings to Xu.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Yerisina!!! It is inpiring to reflect more in the complexity of these characters. After reading your post I feel even more deeply the compassion that I felt for our beautiful caged bird: ShuHe. I am also putting more into place why despite having long for/dream about ZiAng for 5 years the idea of becoming his lover again was an absurd to him: "He did what he did to gain my favour, he won't have that". It is only when the doctor gave him a valid reason to surrender to ZiAng desire -which was ShuHe too as a more primary emotion- is that he became intimate with him again, but for ShuHe did not come near to a loving partner, he felt a male concubine (male pet)

thank you, I have watched it, another super BL. I rated 10 too, So I would put that one just slightly after this one on account of the super performance of a seasoned actor like Wada Masarani (Kataoka)

This is the best Japanese BL I have ever watched. Actors were amazing, the script a superior intelligent version of the manga, the photography spellbinding. Despite the age difference the chemistry is fire. Both actors provide a touching tenderness to the cruel world they were portraying. The ending was lovely. It is a 10 . Ignore the low rating here. Highly recommended.

I agree with you. ZiAng had "to freeze his heart" to become an assassin so the emotion he felt when he met ShuHe again he not even knew what it was, but it was there. ShuHe was more honest with his feelings from the beginning.

This is a great point Y and a great scene - which strangely nobody picked up as their favourite in your previous question. This is when the hand washing happened. yes, Jin said that ShuHe was already in love with ZiAng at that time.

This a great question. I write this at this moment, but will expand later. The announcement of the marriage to Jibei princess was a catalyst for ZiAng to realise his true feelings. However I believe that ShuHe cherished ZiAng since he was a child and he simply transfer those feeling into an adult emotion when they met again.

That was one of ZheXu contribution to the drama. It was really moving. he waited for 5 years and ShuHe preferred to die that reigniting their romance.

Your comment arrives just on time, as somebody must have been downvoting the series. It was 8.5 this morning, now is 8.4. It happens all the time in MDL. Yes, we are very lucky with XuJin they are so generous to each other and to us their followers. They put their heart and soul in their performance in the series and deserve all recognition.

This series until this morning was 8.5 now is 8.4. as I wrote before, late comers ruin the party!! It happens everywhere in MDL. Could you all who has enjoyed the series please vote every episode with 10 to make up for those downvoting. This series was a labour of love with no financial benefit for the people involved. It is a beautiful BL and deserve to be praised as such.
