I believe that they try to present a world turn upside down after the virus and in this world pheromones and all that stuff is important. Yes, I was trying to remember who was the one that many people say it is in the wrong CP because the other guy is not good actor. yes, it is Gun! but the shipping fans go crazy. In China there are myriad of shipping fans but they don't expect the actors to act together what they do is supporting them in their individuals work. There is an "official" XingQui CP fandom now, with a terrible name if you ask me "cups"!?, the color it is good - purple. There are myriad of these ship fandom in China. It is not what I know. Chemistry workshops - we came to know it existed from the Thai BLs. I had never heard about it before. There is a famous video of Russell Crowe saying that creating "chemistry" with your partner before rehearsals is an absurd. Everybody rehearse for a play or a film, that's normal, but not a specific "chemistry workshop". There are Chinese actors that film two productions at the same time, running from set to set. It is not ideal but it happens often. They say it themselves. I totally disagree there is not chemistry in K and C CPs. Come on k dramas are famous for this.

Long Zuo is the most redundant character in the novel and suspect in the live too. It is never explained his life and circumstances. So I have read the novel twice and I am as puzzled as you are. The only I can say is that Alphas are versatile, but the pregnancy here no idea. I will wait for somebody else to jump with a more enlighten comment.
