Dont trust MDL pages. They are incomplete dont have all the cast. It has the wrong information. Jiang Heng for instance is already 27 years old, i doubted this is his first role but this is what we got. I recognised the main lead actors from those - 15 minutes ep ones. C series.

Exactly. The main appeal of the series is the main actors efforts and amazing chemistry. Sister Nong, the author of the written piece, is a good story teller but not a very good producer.

For all of those still interested in the mess MDL did with the series info - I asked them who requested the change of info and here is the answer I received - a lot of nonsense of course. Maybe you should reconsider placing yourself in the delulu position to be higher than the rest of us. This is the world of fiction - Omegaverse, more fiction than that impossible. Before we are getting more posts of people sensitive to HY predatory behaviour, may I suggest to stop watching the series altogether. His obsession is the main course of ABO storyline. He is an Enigma, more of a hunter than an S Alpha. In this distorted Omegaverse universe even that type of behaviour does not cross the line. And for those that dream that SWL/GT "encounter" would be much better, stop dreaming. There is not tenderness in the whole narrative regarding these characters. This is why in the end the main couple is more endearing for me, because during the deception and after everything is discovered there are all kinds of expressed affection between them.

SWL and GT are a secondary story line. As a matter of fact, they are giving them more scenes than in the novel. There are not redeemable qualities in this couple in the novel, there is not a moment of tenderness of expressed affection between them. In this world with not green flags, even GT, it is not an exception.

This series was brilliant until the end. It is always so frustrated that people down vote and excellent series because the ending is not what they were expecting. The ending honor the spirit of the Chinese concept that the well being of the majority was more important that the individual story of Ran Ran. She was the inspiration for Yan Yan character (Dilraba) and her mother that contributed so much to the support of the victims families. Ran Ran is found unglamorous with the sign of the hard countryside life in her face, but we don't know more. We left wondering but we saw so many lives during all the episodes. A quick celebration and reunion won't honor the series because like with the lawyer that find his son it takes more than one episode just to open the door for them to connect. Ran Ran mum was still OK taking smart decisions so they will for certainly recognise each other. Dilraba is the heart and soul of this series. Her acting was impeccable, showing with every gesture her deep empathy and pain for her lost friend. The best Dilraba performance that I have seen. The rest of the cast was super too. Agree with the majority that the weakest link was Jin Shi Jia but it was still ok. It is a pity that MDL does not have a more balance followers platform. We have rubbish Thai BLs practically soft porn with 9 rating, and a brilliant series like this with less than 8. Everybody like what they like , but I only can say that I feel sorry for what MDL has became.
