Ep 7 - I really enjoy watching this series. It is a guilty pleasure because I see everything that is wrong with the production, but in whatever package it comes I love Elliott performance and his character Enigma, his bickering with SWL and his crazy love for SSY. Elliot and Kipuka, put their whole heart into their performance. They are so giving to each other inside and outside set ,and they have an amazing screen chemistry, so everything they do as a CP is riveting. Watching the kiss of the BTS does not surprise me, despite that it is not shown in the actual episode, we know this is what they were doing. Finally a lovely scene between SWL and GT, very touching. Best performance by Jiang Heng in the whole 7 episodes. I wish for him being cast in romantic dramas because he looks the best expressing himself like this. LPE always delivers. And here is when it comes the negative, the dubbing is sub standard but the dubbing of SWL and GT is the worst in this scene. I am glad they put more lively extras in the club because previous scenes placing two robotic people there was pathetic. thankfully they remember to include women! (they could have given them better clothing though). They finally let the "girlfriend" say something, she is an impressive lady so it was good to see her acting. The hairdo they inflict to the Alphas is atrocious. They also should sack the make up artist because the actors eyelines and the ghostly faces are not good. And the worst of the worst goes to: the camera work, what on earth they were thinking of in the office scene filmed behind something with a line in the middle and there is more but I better stop!!!!

Justice in the Dark was caught in the middle of the new censorship guidelines. As we know after Addicted BLs were forbidden but after these there were iconic bromances adapted from BLs writings like The Untamed and Word of Honour the most famous, but also the Guardian and another one. Then the government decided that it won't allowed bromances adaptation from BL material and that was for Justice in the Dark, what a shame!
