Melon says Baba has changed her stylist to Mix Wei. Hes the current EOI for W magazine and sometimes supervises Marie Claire China spreads. I wonder if this is an offset after W China event where she had the most traffic. This is such a great strategic move too as she will most likely appear on both magazines too.
In Sword Rose, Dilraba’s character is the central one. Her role was more interesting than the drama itself.…
Its an ensemble cast. Whats central to the drama is not Deng Yan or Dilraba, its the suffering of trafficking victims and the ripple effect it has on families, communities, and the society at large. The drama deserves every recognition it has gotten so far and more. Baba worked hard and made an impact through her participation and contribution to the drama. The drama is written to emphasise the "story" and not the "star" which is probably why she chose this project because it focused on such an important issue in society. The biggest reward is being a part of an important project and to grow as actor!
Reminds me of that article about it being a stylists nightmare if their client goes before or after Baba 😭😂Everyone…
No rumours of attendance for Weibo night at this point, but hopefully she does. The red carpet feels lacklustre without her presence. I also thinks its her aura and confidence. Many people can wear designer but very few carry the confidence to go with it. I hope she works with another stylist next year!
Baba rumored to be featuring in another January issue Grazia.
Everyone looked lovely but they were playing it safe this year!
