They really tried to soften Anle's edge in this drama by having her feel some sort of "pity" for fake DZY. Giiirrrrl, novel Anle would never. A bold pawn is a dead pawn.
The writers keep drumming up mechanic trysts between the two like let them find each other organically. This dramatic jump off a cliff just to capture the Marquis just so they can bandage each other up is sooo overdone!
Like give us revenge then romance. Anle would never put romance before the redemption of the Di family!!!
I hope Reba's next piece of work shows her in a female centric role. No MLs maybe on the outskirts, a drama that focuses on friendships, grievances, peer pressures, the pressures of filial piety, career, motherhood, all that good stuff.

Those behind the scenes need to do better but they got money so they can afford hire these big stars for subpar writing! They just took the old formula - bring in the viewers for the stars and not the story!! I am disappointed in what they have done. They were never serious about making this a great adaptation but an idol drama.

It's a bloody mess! The producers/writers/directors/youku need to stop adaptation if they are just going to oversaturate the storyline with romance. I get that its Youku's niche but choose a cliche love story not turn a revenge story and sap it up! I am sticking around for my girl Reba. Everyone else can take a hike. They did the same for Shining Just For You except the editing is a little bit better lol

I remember seeing a vid about actors hiring crowds to pretend to be fans and sometimes multiple actors would arrive somewhere on the same day and just use the same people lol this definitely does not look like a hired crowd lol
