I'd love for Reba to star in a slice-of-life type of story. One where she goes through rebirth and learns from the mistakes she made in her past life. Also, a dashing hubby and a beautiful, chubby child wouldn't hurt the storyline too.

Absolutely, he was the father figure she never had and in many ways, the one absolute parent figure in her life. That last shared moment they had really cemented my respect for him as the doting father she never had. The look of absolute love Li Shimin had for her as she walked away into her own path, made me ache for him. There was pain, pride and love in knowing that his affections, teachings and respect was something LGG held close. Still want to fight Hao Du and Minister Du though lol

I absolutely hate Minister Du and Hao Du. I still don't take a liking to them. I know that one has to ruthless and decisive especially when establishing a new Emperor but damn that shit was excessive chasing her throughout the entire Dynasty. I honestly ached for the teenage Princess who had to grow up overnight.

I totally agree. She ultimately chose the route that would give them both the peace of mind that they needed to move forward. She didn't forgive him but she knew she couldn't hate him forever especially if it wasn't her father who died, it would've been Li Shimin. Xuanwu Gate really was an event designed to test one's bottom line. I used to tear up every time Li Shimin would worry about her and then to have his reckless Ministers hound her was heartbreaking.

I'm rewatching some bits again and I have to say the father/daughter chemistry between Li Change and Li Shimin is overwhelming. It just hits different when they are on screen.

Yes, I am excited for her. I hope she takes it and I hope the writers flesh out all the characters like they did to the characters in Ode to Joy and other female-centric casts.

She does a lot of philanthropy and speaks on social issues such as censorship, air pollution and spreading awareness for refugee resettlement programmes.

My hope is that they don't dim her character light in order to make him shine instead make them shine together.

Di Sheng Tian is the one! Honestly, I like that most of fave characters have been cast. I am itching for it to come out!
