It's great. The storyline is excellent and the pacing is similar to the TLB. I'm only on the first 2 episodes but its great so far. I don't even know why I started, now my ass won't be able to sleep.

Ashile Sun vs She'er. The martial style of the grasslands really uses space and the movements are rapid yet still very technical. It helps that the Director chose the right moments to use a slow mo effect and when to use real time like the scene where they are spinning on the ground with their swords. Really heightens the intensity or rather the desperation of the fighters to survive their dual.

Seriously, I just love the mature responses and outlook from the viewers. But it's also because a lot of the people here can actually have constructive criticisms and aren't so blinded by their adoration for the characters that they disregard character flaws. I have seen too much of that happen in other drams. It's toxic.

Audience taste locally and internationally differs greatly. I've notice a mature audience respond to the Gesun whilst the themes centred around Haoyan have an adolescent fanbase or a mixture. Could be wrong
