I hope that in future, especially for promotional events, a variety of cast members get to attend these events. I get that the younger generations bring the traffic and viewers but I really want interviews with the older cast. After all, they are veterans and it would be interesting to hear their viewpoints on the drama/their characters etc
I just finished the series with rough translations from my friend and I must say, I am more than disappointed with the way the episodes after 42 were handled and executed. The fuck was that?
now i feel sad for shuyu, will this society accept me
I've never hated Wei Shuyu just disappointed in his lack of character growth in the earlier stages. I'm not the biggest fan of Haodu but I appreciate his ability to grow a spine after 40 episodes.
I love Dilraba in that Mobei dress. She looks ravishing and elegant. All those netizens who said she could not pull off historical clothes should take a knee to the face.
Wu Lei with Park Bo Young Dilraba with Song jong ki/Park Seo joon maybe!
Lol I don't mind because I don't see them in a romantic arch. He's a talented actor so I wanna see how it plays out. I can see them in a detective story as accomplices/colleagues
Question: If the Hallyu ban wasn't in place, who would you love to see be in a drama together?
For me, I would love to see Dilraba and Lee Dong Wook together. Just to see if my eyes could take all that beauty on one screen. Also Hyun Bin or Jang Hyuk with Sun Li would be interesting to see.
Of course, the plot, narrative pacing and ensemble cast would have to be amazing, none of that Diamond Lover nonsense lol
Yes, its still my top drama and the only one so far that I will use the word masterpiece for. I would say that…
LOL I would give it an award for the most cliche title but its crazy to see the growth that has spurred within the Chinese drama market since then until now
I have seen photos of a young Leo in the series but I was curious about the storyline and what it generated so much buzz as it keeps coming up on my recommended list.

I feel you. I have dramas like that I don't particularly love plot wise and all but I love them purely for introducing me to Chinese dramas. I think mine was The Prince Who Turns Into A Frog with Joe Chen. If I were to watch it now, I would be highly critical and find it nonsensical but those earlier days in 2009 were innocent asf
BTW, those comment numbers are going crazy
