I just think it means ZL is getting closer to getting the Yus bc they are attacking his household to stop him.
ZL was not out of character. I don't understand why you're saying this. I expected what's going to happen to that father in law. Also, the Yus have been in power for decades and for sure their hands and schemes were never "clean". But I didn't like how this dramatic event was written and this wasn't in the novel.
