No. They weren't really seperated. They fell in love, got engaged, then married and lived as a married couple till the end of the novel and beyond 😄 But he was a soldier on the frontier too so he was there most of the time while she was in the capital taking care of the household and children. (It was like this for about 10 years If I remember correctly). That's why in the novel we pretty much only had FTY's pov.
I just love how FTY looks at her man. 😍 Her eyes are full of love which make my heart melt. They both look at each other very lovingly. I really appreciate this couple ❤️🔥
