This drama has exceeded my expectations. So goooood. Oh, the acting. The acting is over the top. It has fantastic direction. The camera work and the way they frame certain scenes are truly stunning, and the color palette is incredibly vibrant and pleasing to the eye. The adaptation from the novel is really interesting. I really liked Zhao Ling's character in the novel and I felt devastated when the author deprived us of his presence in the 2/3 of novel ... 🫠 So yes it's my wish too to see him more in the drama.
