Marry Him in Her Place (2025) is a great revenge romance costume and period miniseries set during the Republican era which allows the plot to blend genres of revenge, political intrigue with a steadfast, beautiful romance that withstands betrayal, mystery, political and social unrest, trust, and fear of loss while confronting their own demons. The cast did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple, Ryan Ren (as Lin Yun) and Liu Nian (as Liang Yi / Xu Yin), had a splendid rapport, great team work, and a beautiful tensed, devoted, and impassioned chemistry. Both the male and female lead were intelligent and strong characters that could stand on their own and that, together, they would become a force to be reckon with! Overall, this a well written and performed drama with high entertainment value; enjoy it!
