Well said. A righteous general makes a foolish man. Risking his lives or lives of other for loyalty are just plain stupid, but that’s why some of them die young at those times. Think this script is portraying ML’s father as that type of general.

Wow…I didn’t realise that. After you mentioned, I went and review, it’s true🤩. FL is strong and also seductive; ML is shy but yet is willing to meet her gaze…gives me butterfly in stomach 😍.
Ep 6, the leads are going closer to each other, ML is opening up. A lot of closed up camera angle on their eyes….guess this is the way this director shows steamy scene.😍
Okay, ep 24 has a happy progression on FL’s career, she got further promoted, but they just going to let that Princess Yuan Wu go free like that without punishment, after she done so much to harm FL???!!!
Nice starts, Noona love story with both leads having major childhood trauma, love at first sight, but more from FL fallen for ML’s good looks;). This director did “Our Secret”, one of my favourite Youth romance coming to age drama, so I trust his camera angle and direction, so far so good.
I normally can’t continue Zhang YuXi’s drama, it’s nothing about her, mostly the drama story she picks just couldnt really make it for me. However in this one, I really like her character and personality and the story seems interesting. And I like Bi Wen Jun, haven’t seen him in modern drama for a while, he is good at being aloof and cold, he suits this type of characterization very well. Watch the first 2 ep., I am intrigued, so will continue to see how the story goes.
