all of li hongyi's dramas have been rumored to air for a pretty long time. so who knows what's going on with him. i don't know if i can believe anything TBH. youku fan girl shared her post as a rumor, so even the news about YOUKU waiting on stats isn't legit. let's just hope we get it soon guess.

me too. i'm having a tough time with all the recent releases that i've been rewatching favorites while waiting on the ones i'm really looking forward to. this is one of my anticipated.

i've heard it's a dispute with Li Hongyi (he's been having a tough time getting any of his dramas to release, even his last 2 airings took forever), but i've also heard it's GJM controversy from earlier years. i've also heard it's YOUKU being YOUKU, holding everything as they wait on watch statistics to guide their next release. but nothing has been confirmed. this is just the talk of the town. i don't know if we will ever get real answers, but i was hoping to feel people out to see if anyone heard anything legit.

So it’s implied that Li Fei and her father were involved in the captain’s death. Was this an accident? This is separate from the serial killings though, right? I assumed in the chaos of the fight, the captain got shot. But why did it escalate so quickly? It’s never really explained. And there were still murders happening but the MO changed. Was it the same person and Li Fei and her father were just bad luck and bad timing?

That’s good to know they’re not playing it up. I watch a lot of costume and watched Bao Shangen in Whispers of Fate and Generation to Generation (loved her in both). So I wanted to give this a try.

Why do these stories always have a family relation component? Here it’s a step-brother. In Speed and Love it was an adopted brother. In Dazzling it was a brother through close family ties but not a biological brother.

So ridiculous. I hate fan wars. I run a FB group, so I see it too much. I ban anyone for doing it. Personally, I could care less who stars in this. I’m only watching for Guo Jingming.
