i can't tell yet. so far it seems like two separate storylines, though they do mention a few things from S1 (but i don't think you need S1 to understand). but i don't know if they will bridge the seasons later on so that you'll need it. either way, i recommend S1 (though that's not your question) because it is just as fabulous as S2 is panning out!

could admin look into this so they could add him to the cast? i swear that Wu Tian Hao appears in episode 2. i don't know if he continues throughout the drama, but i figured i would mention it so admin can keep tabs and include if they feel it fits.

i agree. it could have been better than what we got. the performers are skilled, the set was eye catching, there were so many elements and details that could have been expanded on to include what you mentioned. but the script and director didn't do it.
