It isn't MDLs fault though, Japan itself doesn't want to promotion their stuff internationally. It's changing with some big projects that involve foreign investments, but mostly they are still with the Edo period mindset of key to themselves.
I need to keep reminding myself that it's actually a good thing because it keeps them true to their style. Netflix interference has ruined Kdramas and I don't want the same thing to happen in Japan.

Had the potential to be so good, but the false breadcrumbs the writers left us got stale midway. Even an attempt at viewer misdirection needs to be interesting. I appreciate the twist, but it came too late for this drama to be good.
