What do you not understand? Why do you think Chinese dramas dub their actors? Partly due to regional accents but also to match a certain tone to a certain character. Voices are key in movies/dramas. You wouldn’t take seriously a 45 year old character with a baby voice, would you. Similarly, they chose attractive actors to portray main characters because they know it catches the viewer’s attention. Nothing new.

The drama is promising but I can't help but think that the voices just don't match the overall vibes of the drama. The ML doesn't sound as manly as he looks. I hope they will dub the drama one day.

I agree and didn’t say the opposite. I was just saying to the other commentator that there is no such thing as “wasting youth” for any women of this era. They were all marrying as teenagers (20 was considered late for a woman to get married). I was just pointing out the inaccuracy (whether real or fictional) but she somehow got defensive

I do comprehend but what you said doesn't make sense in that context. Princesses or noble women were used to form alliances. She would have not chosen her husband either way. And she would also be confined in a home with other concubines and potentially be forced to do things or fight for her place. Eeven a powerful female general is being forced to marry. The age gap is gross but she is having it easy considering how well he treats her (which is not realistic - no way would a man inn those times not forcer her to consummate). So there's no wasting youth away...

What does wasting youth mean. What kind of life would she lead if not married?

Ok so I adore the drama and the leads but it's high time the plot move foward with the FL's identity reveal as the leads' dynamic is becoming boring and stagnant, especially as we see him clearly fall in love. She needs to know ASAP.
