The drama is cute so far but I was expecting more tbh. It feels like Lu Si is now duplicating every character she is playing since she's gained success playing the brainless, cute and adorable weak girl. I feel like I'm watching the same drama each time. Also, the ML doesn't have the charisma that Li Hongyi had in LBTI so I don't buy into them.

I love Allen's acting - it is very subdued and he knows how to play those cold character well. He also has great chemistry with all his FL. My only issue is that he doesn't give his all when it comes to passion and romance. You can clearly see that he is holding back (probably because his wife is jealous) so no kiss scenes for him. I personally struggle to buy into a couple in a romance driven drama with no kisses.

Yes, I am using other alternatives. I am just warning other people not to trust whatever is being said about iqiyi. It is very odd that someone not affiliated with iqiyi would recommend it on almost every drama, considering how poor the translations are.

You must be working for IQIYI. You are literally on every thread telling people to get this rubbish app that has bad translations.

Yes, I loved the contrast between his cold exterior and the fact that he was actually soooo pure. I was really not expecting it. It was so heart warming and their chemistry was wonderful. The male lead in Marriage not dating is not like this at all, you won't find him as likeable but it is very romantic, funny and light. Did you watch Wednesday 3.30pm? It is probably more similar.

Marriage, not dating is very similar. It gave me this fuzzy, butterfly feeling too.

We seem to have the same taste then. :) Any other similar dramas you'd recommend? Pretty sure you would have seen Something about 1%? I know it has mixed reviews (and I hated the ending) but I adored Lie to me.

No, he clearly remembers her, hence him giving her the rings and the last smile. He pretended to forget as he wanted to start fresh on a clean slate (hence his internal monologue).

Wow you are just as twisted as HJH. I don't get the fact that you don't get it tbh as it is pretty obvious lol. He took the fall, went to jail and destroyed his career on the basis that she would wait for him. It is kind of a given that he did it because he thought she would still love him and they would end up getting married. It is not like she gave him the choice - it was either she or he, and she manipulated him emotionally when she sais she wouldn't be able to bear it (so pretty much ending her life). He also said many times before the real revenge that he was going to forgive her until she started turning really evil and hurt everyone around her (she tried to jail him again and even kill him - did you forget?!!). This is when he decided to step in as he felt responsible for the way she turned out.

No, both leads are human and real. That's why this drama is making some people uncomfortable. Most men are exactly like Eric - selfish, money and sex driven until they finally grow up and find a purpose or a woman that changes their perspective. And most girls her age would act exactly like her in front of their much older crush and first love. This is soo real and raw.

Nah the chemistry in this one is muuuuuuch better. I found the pairing creepy in the Flame's daughter - they gave me uncle/niece vibes.

The MUA of this drama should be fired. The ML looks sick!! Why did they do him so dirty. Was he feeling unwell during filming?
Also, don't have anything against the FL, I think she is great for light rom coms, but more dramatic dramas don't suit her IMO. The actress playing the princess in the first episode totally stole the show. Would have loved her to appear more :(

The lead actor is terrible and never has chemistry with his FL. Not sure why he gets roles.

It is HER OPINION - she can call it garbage if she wants to. You fans are hyping up a drama that has poor ratings everywhere else so we need some more objective and balanced opinions. If you can't accept this, don't read the comments.
