I have dropped these types of dramas too!!!
While I understand we are watching fiction, it’s hard when only one person in a show does it ALL…even if it’s my fav - FL or ML.
The dramas with a solid well rounded cadre of characters I makes for the best shows.
One and Only had me falling in love with all the main characters (…even the villain is well played - cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but well played nonetheless) and cried so much.
Same with Mo Li - I find myself rooting for the side characters and happy they get decent screen time.

FAM! I actually will no longer watch young male lead &/or idol male dramas - even if they look appealing b/c of the female fanatic fans…and I’m a girl😅

Clearly you are not operating in reality, and that’s ok. I am not here to fight with you AND I don’t agree that to be rational when chasing a drama is a bad thing. I accept that you feel this way as I have also when I am passionate about Bai Lu.
However to spew hate and accuse me of being a “secret ZLY fan” because I am being rational is wild.
Lastly, it’s also perfectly acceptable to NOT BE A ZL fan ON BAI LU’S page😒

First, let’s be clear - I said The Story of Minglan is one of my favs - not the lead actor or actress tbh. But their characters.
Just like I really loved Le Coup De Foudre, but it became hard to watch the after the ML’s comments & behavior b/c i really liked the characters and the drama. ZLY isn’t an actress I follow so I don’t know much about her, and expressed it would be sad to learn more and not be able to watch the show I liked - that’s it.
I think it’s important for you to take a breath and hear that it think ZL’s AGENCY should have done more - and that this does not have bearing on what he as an actor could do.
Frankly this is how fan wars start, and that’s not were I’m even trying to go with this ON BAI LU’s page!
I could care less if they dated - none of my business, but if she says I’m not dating him and her agency agrees (although it took them several weeks) and his agency says nothing - it starts fan mess and that is upsetting.
And it sounds like we agree that he didn’t have the power to make a comment , so I will just leave it here.
My hope is that my favs can be happy and safe and healthy - single or partnered doesn’t change that.

First, as a Bai Lu fan (well, This applies to all actors/actresses I enjoy) I hear you re: ZL - please know that I was NOT blaming him for anything, but the fact that HIS AGENCY did nothing to quell the rumors made it hard. That said, maybe his agency, just like Bai Lu’s agency are doing want they want despite what their actors want.
That drama and the rumor that they were dating was awful. From what i underatood, her agenxy denied it, while his did not. Again, I DO NOT have facts - just hearsay. But after SOKP is when Bai Lu said no more idol drama's.
As to her agency - it is AWFUL (Song Weilong got free b/c his sisters stepped in) and she was bound by contract - seems she is leaving however as her current legal team is not under her agency.
About the rest…I keep hearing rumors about ZLY and the Story of Minglan one of my favs so I will go and read your link b/c it hurts my heart to think she came after YM and might be a part of this current hate fest against BL😔

During the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) women wore nail polish - often with vibrant colors and those who could afford it used metals (silver or gold for ex.) to make them appear shiny. They also used flowers, silk, etc.
Not saying this is def the Tang Dynasty but if it is or even after then it’s completely acceptable.
There’s also a huge segment in The Apothecary Diaries (which although a Japanese Manga, is set in China) where MaoMao (lead female protagonist) teaches us how they made nail polish and its shiny.
