I don't really know anything about Neo, but this comment seems slightly irrational. Reading the first half, and then the second one, it seems that you're going against your own point about MDL being a safe and friendly space, and then threatening to bully others if you don't like what they say. Just an observation...
This is a great series, but knowing that the main actor turned out to be a pedophile makes it impossible for me to watch it in the same light. He doesn’t deserve any appreciation, and there are no excuses for his actions.
That said, I can’t ignore the hard work and dedication of the rest of the cast and crew. A project like this is the result of many people's efforts, not just one man’s. So I refuse to disregard the contributions of many because of the actions of one man.
I won't let his actions overshadow the talent and dedication of those who worked hard to bring this project to life. I can appreciate their efforts while refusing to celebrate or acknowledge him in any way.

I don’t understand it myself. People are taking the story and characters too literally, then complaining about them being unrealistic or illogical. It’s a zombie fantasy comedy-drama, and I guess people didn’t expect it to be a parody and satire, but to me, this is like when people watch sci-fi and complain about it being scientifically inaccurate. The literal name of the genre says "fiction"—that’s the whole point. People just want it to be something else and ignore the series' actual quality. And then there are the cast haters— now those are people of great intellect that would never judge a book by it's cover.
I feel like the comedy part is ruining everything lol, I cant take it serious!
I don't know why comedy hasn't been added to the genres. This isn't really supposed to be taken seriously, it's more of a satire. I was suprised, but it's still very well made.
This feels like watching a Korean Tarantino movie—wonderfully written and directed, with incredibly engaging and charismatic characters, and a great sense of humor and satire. I understand this might not be for everyone, but to have it rated lower than all those generic, tropey, and repetitive rom-coms and series of significantly lower quality makes it seem like most MDL users can't appreciate anything beyond that.
Moving writer was underrated but there is a difference. He only did one writing project 10 years before so it was hard to know exactly what he was capable of. The current writer of Knock off has done many projects so the sample size is greater and it's much easier to predict the quality of their next work. No one can be certain, but it's only likely Knock Off will be similar. Nevertheless, there are other aspects that can make Knock Off a success, starting from the casting. I only doubt the script will be it's strongest aspect, which to some people might be most important.
Screenwriters are usually forced to write whatever sells to get by, mostly Rom-Coms. What im saying is, many of these writers, just like this one, are capable of much more once given the opportunity, and there are some great examples. (My Mister and My Liberation Notes witer Park Hae Young or Lost and Hope writer Kim Ji Hye) The question is, what is this series trying to become, a commercial sucess, an artistic success or maybe both. Even putting that aside, what motivates the people behind the project is whats most important.
I hope you're right, I want it to be good and I like the concept. I'm just a bit sceptical because the same thing was thought for When the Stars Gossip and it turned out to be not so good. Star actors don't always equal great projects because the quality of the series is not purely dependent on them.
