Can't figure out what so funny to screw up the name Vincenzo Cassano. For those who are not aware, Vincenzo is…
People who are not acquainted with foreigners or foreign names obviously will screw it up, especially since in Korea, the name structure is completely different with family name (which due to slave past who had no family names, are only a few) and then a double name usually.
So it´s something normal for us but foreign for Koreans, especially since it is obviously a Korean using a foreign name which is more than unusual.
Can anybody explain the updated release schedule now? With 2 episodes mondays, tuesdays and sundays each, i am definitely not getting to 20 episodes since feb 14.
In my opinion, i think people need to stop expecting so much from two episodes. I mean yeah go ahead and state…
1) People can obviously have their subjective views and expectations, but if they are trying to do an objective point with subjective impressions, it does not work. You can not like the type of drama it is, fair enough, but if you do not even understand or try to get what the drama is trying to do, and completely judge it based on your expectations, you have no point.
2) No drama can do anything substantial in two episodes. The only thing it does is the introduction of characters and their context, the premise, and set the tone of the drama. People complaining about depth are speaking nonsense.
It's a bit fun, cliche and cringy though. I hope the larger conspiracy is creative and well written, right now…
I think it might really be a korean version of american like stories. You gotta understand that its a step forward for the Korean industry, at least in their eyes, meaning something that seems pretty common for a Western audience is not the same for a Korean audience.
So watched the first two episodes, definitely an unusual premise for a K-Drama, but they started to deviate from the usual type of dramas for a while now (with the horror shows on Netflix/OCN, tvN having a unconventional storytelling style and so forth) but this is really the first drama which seems completely americanized, for a lack of a better word. Whether that´s actually a good thing remains to be seen, since they should not lose what makes K-Dramas special or attracts at least foreign audiences, at least in my opinion, for the domestic Korean audience it is probably an accomplishment to have a similar Korean show to American series.
Having said that, interesting mystery, but nothing much can be said at this point. The action scene was pretty shaky though, i liked that the camera did not cut too much (at least it did not seem so) but the gun shots were ridiculous.
the only country that makes masterful and entertaining action scenes are Hong Kong and Indonesia, America kind…
Yep but Daniel Wu is trained himself, as are most of the actors in that show. American action movies tend to go for known actors who are pretty and can attract an audience, if they can actually fight is irrelevant, and then they try to make it up with shaky camera movement and cutting. But in recent years, especially with the likes of John Wick and similar type movies, it begins to change, but we will see. Whereas Chinese/Hong Kong are famous for casting stuntmen as main actors and give them acting careers. And with such actors, you can actually do a wide shot and just let the actors actually act fighting.
Song Joon Ki speaking another language is sexy but the drama is awful. The female lead is annoying. There is no…
You are expecting real depth from the first two introductory episodes? Sorry but thats nonsense. But even then, it is obvious there a lot of premises already thaz will get addressed, SJK being abandoned as a child, the murder case of the mother and her cancer, how the female.lead turned out the way she did and so forth.
Don´t take it too seriously, you are not supposed to.
Cant share the sentiment, sorry. The lawyer father is pretty good so far, the inhabitants of the building were.only used as comedic relief so far, not more.
Where are you getting 25+yo from?
It´s a great premise/story, for anyone who is interested.

For people who liked Fiery Priest and Chief Kim, it´s a no-brainer to watch this, for people who did not, this won´t get better for them.
