The international audience is really generous, the show is sitting at 1.8 / 5.0 on the main review site (watcha). watcha is Korean only website, the vast majority of people use this one. https://pedia.watcha.com/ko-KR/contents/tEqZB7Z
kinolights another famous Korean only site and show is sitting around 2.5/5, it was 2.6 before the last episode. https://m.kinolights.com/title/130431
From the Hankyung (largest newspaper in Korea) "The actress was miscast... Even Lee Jae-wook was shaken by ‘Royal Roader’, and even got a bad reputation for being boring ". https://tenasia.hankyung.com/article/2024022995104
Coming after almost 10 years and complaining about spoilers is hilarious!
I mean, your comprehension skills are nothing commendable, to say such bold words about my cognition!! Repeating again though, you're going round and round in your own words and head...
Coming after almost 10 years and complaining about spoilers is hilarious!
You're "british" with a small b, and you understand sarcasm, lol, pretty telling on yourself, don't you think...
Defending myself to you to explain if I lack apprehension, is something I feel would entirely be redundant, something out of the scope of your "British humor" I estimate, as well. " i don’t have a problem with that but assuming everyone else like you is incredibly obnoxious" This line is absolutely hilarious!!! And VERY VERY British indeed, to be presumptuous!! Again, continue please telling on yourself about your predilections and flawed judgment of others.
A classic example of unrealistic escapism: "because a drama has already aired doesn’t mean people should go around spoiling it, it’s an unwritten rule for television and movies in general that you shouldn’t spoil and people who do are mainly people who aren’t familiar with media or just young kids" Unwritten rule?? Really?? you write something that's again, based on presumption. Because the irrevocable truth is a drama/movie/series/documentary/video/book/novel after more than 6 or more months of being aired is never spoiler-free on the internet. Expecting it is unrealistic and unpragmatic, and then complaining, and telling someone else they're obnoxious for stating the obvious is being like a petulant child you so much detest as "just young kids".
"I think this will just fly past your head anyway so I’m going to stop now"... Nah, why???!! Please go on, I am bored, and I am immensely enjoying this!!
Coming after almost 10 years and complaining about spoilers is hilarious!
Sarcasm is really not your strong suite!!! And at this point, you're kinda just arguing with yourself... But it's entertaining to me too, how you're going round and round in your own words, so feel free to continue..
Coming after almost 10 years and complaining about spoilers is hilarious!
Exactly. Especially after a decade!!
But before any of us, Sohee kind of let out the spoilers anyways lol
PS: One suggestion though, which I'm sure you'll never take... If you want to watch something spoiler-free, if in case that has been released more than a year ago ( almost 10 years ago, in fact, lmao) don't look it up on the internet!!!! And don't, for sure, come to a website for reviews, comments, and discussions of movies and shows! You're just gonna bark up the wrong tree.
Hong Su Zu is gorgeous but that wide eye, lifeless look she has for every single scene, sometimes really gives me the creeps, I don't even know how to explain it.... It just sometimes feels so... Weird
WTF is this drama?!!! Like what??? There is only 12 episodes and nothing happened in these two episodes. Inha just became the only interesting character. Huiju is limited to a screen prop. Taeoh still has his head inside his ass and is suddenly working for Hye-won. there's no saving this show now. And no, I am not putting a spoiler for this complete mess of a script.
Like who wrote the Fl's character?!! She wanted Taeoh to take advantage of a schoolgirl 😭... And then the TIH team wants us to root for her or at least feel something for the character and sit and watch her romance!! WTF!
you are making it sound like that the actors are some pitiful people who are acting for our sakes. I beg to differ…
Like I said, take the my comment as constructive or destructive, up to you entirely. Thank you for proving my point with such a spectacular example!! Cheerios :)

I hate jumping into other people's conversations but I feel compelled here. To answer your question: "So bcos they're making money by you all watching, that's reason why everything they act should be to your liking??? "
Short answer:YES. Because do you know where the money to make these comes from? The audience (us) watching it. So yes, we are the ones who have the right to the opinion to judge. That's how awards, popularity, paparazzi culture, actors, and actresses becoming millionaires exist.
And criticism is just criticism, destructive or constructive. It only depends on the way the person intended, takes it.
"kids these days"?? I don't know your age, but like, I'm sure you are against Hong Su zu being age-shamed, stop doing that to other people too, please. Especially when it makes no sense.
And "Lack of understanding of this drama from most, I do get it."? You do realize you sound hilariously narcissistic and funny af right?!!

7.5 is too generous.
That's a total criminal, right there.
