Just the fact that Nick began with "you're talented" must've ended Boston then and there. Appreciating you as a person, hits harder sometimes, even more than loving or wanting or needing... and for Boston who probably always used and saw himself as a tool for obtaining sex with faceless people to genuinely be looked up to and appreciated for his work and not just objectified, probably broke him right at the spot. Nick really did hit the bull's eye. Also can we collectively appreciate how mature Nick was in this episode.
Mark and Neo have been the stand out surprises for me. They have killed their roles every scene they are in. I…
A hundred percent, they have been the standards here. No kidding, and I only wish the best for them going forward. Gmmtv better start appreciating them more though.
It stabbed me in the heart, no wonder Boston looked like he was about to cry.
Boston's decidedly in love, it's just he is unable to recognize or understand it, because, well, he has never felt this way before. And also because he has fallen against his own judgement, breaking all his own rules.
And without a doubt, Mark acted his ass off in the goodbye scene. I felt every word, and I watched Boston's cold heart melt on screen (Neo kudos babe, you can ACT). The direct said action and Mark and Neo heard Slay. And they ATE that scene up, soooooo well. My kings. They got that angsty, pining, goodbye, and I-love-you-enough-to-let-you-go, magnificently done. I ascended.... Given how crazily problematic these two characters are, the fact they are the ones actually doing the romance so well, is insane. No backstory as such, no sob story, plain villainy, and even criminal behavior and still breaking our hearts out there. Take a bow you two!!!
(and PS: did I say, they have the least screentime?!!)
My only prayer for ep 10 is can we have a little less of Top Mew and a little more of Boston Nick. I don't even mind Sand Ray if Ray is actually gonna try to be a decent human. But I really don't wanna see Mew shopping or having useless conversations with Cheum, and in absolute honesty Top and Mew JUST CAN"T ACT. Their scenes are so cringe and I don't know why they get most of the screentime😭
