its just D/s dynamic organically happened with miscommunication issues
"Clearly, Yoh was ok with Mizuki taking charge during sexual activities or else he would have said something."
He clearly struggles to voice his opinion and even say what's on his mind to Segasaki, are we even watching the same show?? Cause that's kind of the whole point.... Because apparently, they are deeply in love but cannot communicate with each other, this is what they are trying to show.
And I don't what prompted you to explain to me that they are or are not, in a D/s relationship because I never said it's D/s in my original thread. I answered only in response to a reply insinuating it is "ORGANIC" (I don't even know entirely what that means) or it's going to be or it is D/s dynamic.
I find their dynamic really interesting. I cant wait to rewatch the whole show once it all aired to see which…
I think it's on you whether you want to watch, watch, or don't watch a series or drama after reading a comment on a website which is meant for comments, quotes, expression of feelings, reviews of series', shows, and dramas by the people who watch them and discuss about them on the site. I/ anyone can and should voice my/their opinions, and based on which whatever someone feels or does is upto them. And this is particularly funny because I didn't even trash the show! All I wrote where valid points that came up during the course of the shows run. Now coming to the other part of your reply. This series is 8 episodes in total, and I commented after 7 episodes have aired. Not one, not two, but after 7, which implies I have watched all 7 of them before I wrote what I wrote. And when 7/8 episodes have aired, unless this show is very incoherently written and they would do a sudden 180 degree on the last episode I believe I stand strong with my points. That this show doesn't know exactly what it's endorsing. And alternatively, if it is badly written and does a complete opposite to what it's shown to it's viewers for over the 7 episodes, in it's final episode once again my observations stand valid only now it's a badly scripted series. So "maybe waiting until the final episode to reserve judgement" is in and of itself a moot point

See, I do too... I like their dynamic. It's different.
I just don't understand what this series is trying to show, or drive home. Like, if they want to display this thing between them as something that works, even if it seems unhealthy to us, but it's what they want unapologetically, desire, need, and crave, I am totally fine with it. Like whatever floats your boat dudes, go for it!!!! Have scheduled sex based on weather and stalk as much as you like, and have a pet human who is also a mangaka and is totally irretrievably in love with each other, although you never confess... Like I'm totally down for it!
But it seems the show is telling us that while this is their thing, but, it also doesn't work, and they want to be 'healthy' but also they will just continue doing questionable things that make no sense in the context of an equal relationship of whatever kind, let alone a love story!!
I don't want to discuss about why using titles like d/s or master/slave is unnecessary labeling in this case.…
I don't know what made you think I didn't understand what you wrote or tried to say, and honestly, the burden is not on you to make me change my opinion of this being a healthy relationship, or even convincing me of their intense, deep unfathomable love. When, there are several crystal clear instances of it not being so. I have respected your opinion and didn't try to convince you, to change your understanding of whatever they've going on, so I would also expect you, or for that matter anyone else, to respect how I interpret their relationship. That being said we can agree to disagree.
And lastly, I believe even "if it's not my thing" I can critique it, as is my right. Have a good day or night.

Well, I guess neither me nor Yoh got the message. And how did for so long, if they were so in love with each other, did he not see ever Yoh smile like that?!! And falling for looks and the way he cooks is so superficial!! If he truly understood, Yoh, I'm sure he would have also understood exactly how Yoh is feeling insecure and not exactly HAPPY living with him under this predisposed circumstances, this is not miscommunication this plain refusing to consider your partner... and as far as not labeling, I don't want to do it either, but the thing is that's something I feel this series is trying in the subtext.
This is genuinely a well-acted and well-directed series, with nuance and hidden allegorical meaning speckled in between, almost hidden but if you squint you might see it. But here is my problem: the dynamics make me question whether am I looking at a consensual master-slave relation, a consensual dom-sub relation, a sugar-daddy-sugar boo relation, or am I looking at something else entirely. Or is it all of this, plus something else? Also, I'm really struggling to understand what Sagasaki LOVEs about Yoh. Clearly, he doesn't really care about his ambitions or the manga, he wonders to himself why Yoh never smiles like that with him (when dude, do you even try to find out Yoh's real personality beyond the melancholic, sometimes horny, and jealous version), so well, he is certainly not in love with Yoh's jovial side, as per the show, and I don't know if he is fond of the cooking or what about Yoh, makes Segasaki fall in love with him?? (Plus, I don't really get, how tracking/stalking someone is the epitome of love, no clue... and honestly, how is Segasaki miscommunicating when his whole profession is kind of communication to an audience?!!!) Now about D/s, I don't know if it's really gonna be D/s in this, but CONSENT, explicit consent, is REQUIRED even in willing partners for D/s. Even an orgasm obtained unwillingly, without prior boundaries, words, consent, and agreement is NOT ROMANTIC. This is not how it works.

Even organically formed D/s needs to be absolutely talked out before anything or anyone is tied up or participating. This story is should not be the standard for "organic" D/s regardless of miscommunication or whatever. Miscommunication is no excuse for performing D/s without explicit consent. Even affection and love and good intention and good will is NOT consent.
I feel guilty for liking this, this is like some weird fetish dream I'm having... I don't even know why I like it... Is this lust? Obsession? Infatuation? Some kink? Some kind of role-playing? Or some eternal forbidden type of love? what is this delirium... am I even allowed to watch this? Legally, I mean?!!!
