Currently watching a kdrama, Study group. very different but highly entertaining.

I like xianxia dramas but after watching Love & Destiny, my expectations are quite high now lol

I dropped Perfect Match, just couldn’t get into the characters. Maybe I may pick it up again as I am curious about 4th sister and her husband love story. So far, they have not gotten to their story.

Unpopular opinion, no matter what I did, I was not as invested in this drama/plot. I found myself skipping a lot to get to the end. For some reason, I wasn’t even sold on the leads love story, and did not care AT ALL for the second leads and their love story and redemption. I guess, it just wasn’t for me, but I like the main actress and looking forward to her next project.

Agreed. Maybe I’ll give love & redemption another go, because the plot is very blur in my mind. As for this drama, I thought it was great until we got to the ZM and pearl arc. I was no longer as invested and felt that the last arc and ending were rushed.

All good! Tbh, I barely remember the plot of love & redemption. Hao Chen tried to save the fl? All I remember is him being a snob, and starting a war because he didn’t want to drink tea with the demon Lord, who ended up turning the fl, who happened to be the God of War with memory loss, and who spent the entire show saying “Si Feng“ every two minutes while making him suffer for 3/4 of the drama. Poor Si Feng lol

Same. I never got around to liking her or the 2ML. It also doesn’t help because I skip all her scenes with Chong Zhao. I don’t care if she ends up being Mother Theresa at the end, I just don’t care lol
