I find it so annoying when you want to see someone’s face when karma hits/ revenge is done, but that person simply refuses to cooperate because they are delulu. That’s exactly how I feel about the SML.

Based on a comment below, the current episodes are not in the book. Apparently the fl comes for a large and wealthy merchant family that loved her and help her divorce her loser husband (who had many concubines) and crazy in-laws and helped her take back her dowry. Not sure if Shengyi exists in the novel. The fl does open a peony store but I don’t think she suffered like she is suffering in the drama. This is all based on the comments below. I have not read the book.
