I saw the previews of ep 23-24…and we are still in the past smh. This is a 40 ep show and 24 episodes later, we are still in the first arc. I am afraid that the second arc and final arc will be rushed. Too many filler episodes and nothing consequential happened in all these episodes. I have yet to see the ml show progress in his abilities. He does not give me main character vibes at all.

to the fl - ep 14 to the peacock princess - ep 16 (she easedrops on a conversation) to everyone- it hasn’t happened yet (as of the episodes I’ve watched - up to ep 16)
I dropped this at ep 11 as I wait for FL to be reborn again as Phoenix but seeing you are in ep 14 made me think…
By the previews, she’s still not reborn by ep 23. It may happen in ep 24 or 25. The first arc was way too long. Nothing consequential happened really. Even the fl and ml’s adventures to find the lost essence were very formulaic: arrive at location, someone guarding the tree or object containing the essence will appear, they will either talk or fight that individual, and in the end the one guarding it will give it to them or they will defeat that individual and take it. This scenario is repeated a number of times.
The ml feels like a side character, and not giving me « main character » vibes. I hope he will become more imposing when he becomes the true God and his powers are no longer sealed
I gotta be honest, I can't bring myself to 100% ship A Yin with the ML. I just feel that she is way too good for…
Ikr!! I am having a hard time rooting for the ml. If I was the fl I would not give him the time and day. I would give him that look Bain Bain gave to Yehua when he first met her as a Goddess.

I gave up trying to understand after ep 21-22 throw me off completely

When he killed her was he still under the flute spell (I forgot what it is called)?
As much as I like the actor in Forever love, I’m sorry to say this, but here, his character is giving me puppy vibes and not main character, true God vibes… is it a lack of screen presence? He has a certain je ne sais pas quoi. Thoughts?
