Too hilarious ! I haven't reached the last episode yet. One episode every 2 days is filling my busy day although I skip scenes. I want to know why I watch it. My time was not wasted reading your comment. Really too hilarious !

Not much expectation without the previous cast I am not a dream...the fun is gone.

Kept this playing while going about my house chores as a good opportunity to listen to Chinese. I suppose that adult actors/actresses endorsing teenagers' roles for 11 episodes is enough for my sanity. What a waste of their talents.

I am a newbie BL watcher. My second time watching a CBL drama. The first was the 2017 Advance Bravely which I watched because I wanted to understand what was the director's and writter's purpose. I found it so mediocre that I never looked deeper into this genre.

The only BL movie I watched is Brokeback Mountains that is the best love story, to me, surpassing any love story of all times. And the only story that give me the crave to fall in love again. To be frank, whatever the genre, I am interested only in the production, music composition, the camera translating a palpable story on the screen, the interpretation and depth all actors are bringing to the screen and my intelligence not been taken for granted. In all I am interested in Arts in all its forms. As for whatever the genre, the fish kisses and the number of time main leads kiss do not arouse me. I am not a "voyeur" and most of the time I fast forward these scenes for even the music doesn't bring depth to these moments.

However, this AWSWTWISHD is really an exeptionally poetic story telling.

Thank you for your recommandations. Should I have the time, I shall look into one of them. Knowing that MDL is not a Chinese based site, I am surprised that cast and credits list is so poorly represented in regards to this Cdrama. I understand that, because of its genre, the production company is outside China but MDL shouldn't discriminate the creators of such a nice work. We, in the West, still have a long way to go to lay down our hyprocrisy.

Watched the 11th episode 3 times. Yes 3 times, and I am not over it yet.
This could never ever be turned into a costume drama.
How can a director translate such a script so emotionally and adapt it to the screen ?
Who are they ? Who is the director, the writer, the composer ? Why are they hidden from this MDL cast & credits list ? What the heck is that ?

I have movie claustophobia syndrome. Reason why I haven't reached episode 7 yet. I need some fresh air...thanks to my cat asking me the back door every 5 minutes 😹

Actually, I skipped some scenes I didn't find that necessary for the plot. Adding to the too darkyish ending was not adding to my desire to rewatch it before this airing season. This 2nd season appeals to me for William Chan and Joseph Zheng convo and indeed the veteran actors. I almost dropped it when sulky face Sabrina Chen appeared. Only that, dropped my idea of rating down to 2 numbers. But as of now, I've decided to hold my fort.

I contradict myself as I am not a 2nd season watcher except for Nivarna In Fire, Joy Of Life, Sword Snow Stride, for which I "grace" them my hours sleep 🤣

Back to the subject on hand. I have the same brutal idea in regards to Tientsin Mystic that took me 6 months to watch although it is a well produced Cdrama. Its other seasons are not on my "to watch list".

It's my take on all these.

He surely has an innate extrasexual tendencies. So his other senses (domination/greed/wickedness/visualisation, etc) are overstimulated because of his lack of physical masculinity. With or without a "pen*s" he would anyway have a vicious mind because his pen*s is only a tool used for a short time. But his vicious tendencies are always on alert. There are interesting books written by neuroscientists on that subject that I won't recommand anyone to read...too sickening

I enjoy watching this season better than the 1st.

I know there is a time gap between both seasons and technical camera motions/lightings have evolved since 2016 but it seems to me that the production team has the will to satisfy its global audience by inserting some more expensive "visual effects". Not to underestimate indeed the actors' years of experience.

I am watching a well written adaption for the screen that is not insulting my intelligence, as yet. It is still too early for me to give it a score.

He has a large written tatoo on his left cheek. I don't know why yet.

I've been waiting for this series for ages.
Played the intro in a loop for minutes on. It has to be listened with headset on. So much "trap" style of music with Chinese opera. So high class a sound. A little restraint though. Which is good otherwise might be viewed as Native American copy/paste style like Kpop unfortunately does. Chinese culture is very considerate towards others' in this matter - well this is my take. I should do my research on this composer.
I go back to this 1st episode.
