At early age he had already fallen for her. But as a child, that emotion could not be translated as such. It was then admiration. Now, unconsciously, he is courting her. He is doing everything he can to protect her. This is going to be an interesting pairing.
Yang Zi once more is the best actress for this role. Elvis Han never disappoint in his choice of character.
To introduce the history of ink making, this story is an amalgam of past Cdramas. Although the numerous "déjà vu" Cdramas scenes, this story has a charm in itself that is appealing through the cinematography, wardrobe, props, historical buildings, furnitures, courtyards, cobblestone streets, bridges, etc. I like being taken by the hands through the busy and messy streets.
And what I marvel upon is the reproduction of an ink making workshop through the hard work of a woman.
Thank you, I've made updates to the page about the final achievements of this movie :Dhttps://mydramalist.com/767811-blades-of-the-guardians#comment-26200268And…
On another note the airing of Zhan Zhao Adventures give me a hard time. Except the fighting scenes, I am bored to death. I haven't dropped it yet. However I skip all the poison and discution scenes. Are they faces AI generated ?

Thank you. I did a tour of all 3 recommandatons. Great ! This actor is a likeable person. I shall search my Chinatown to buy the DVD version of Blades of the Guardian.
One thing I found interesting in these recent episodes is seeing more western and supposedly modern influences…
@Lili Because the silk road was established over 2000 years ago all Asia, Westerner and African merchants bought and sold products such as furs, rice, millet, silk, cotton, root vegetables, glass, porcelain and mainly tea. Era also during which products the Brits stole. It is a fascinating period of human history.
U think the Tian fam planned all this out from the get go with the magistrate to get rid of the Lou fam?!!?
From what I understood, the downfall of the Lou clan was not the Tian clan's making.
To save the Lou clan's history, Master Lou gave the Tian family, whom was formely a Lou's "slave", his entire properties as an inheritance.
In regards to the Lou's recipe (the manual), the Lou clan's first son gave that manual to Li Zhen.
Tian Ben Chang, whom was Li Zhen former fiancé and the only Tian's son, wanted a revenge then burnt Lou clan's country side dwelings.
As for who took down the Lou clan, it surely comes from the capital so, for political reason. The Tian family had no back up during that period to deal with the Lou's. Time will tell who did that.
Perfect wrap up. Perfect cast. Perfect script. Perfect sound track. Perfect cinematography. Perfect time to introduce AI tech to people that have not understood its scary consequences. Perfect occasion to invite people to discover more about AI tech.
A diplomatic way to avoid a spoiler. If some commenters could use your good judment, the spoiler tag wouldn't…
No big deal. I didn't notice your past comment...must be well written though.
I don't read spoilers anyway as I keep up to date, as much as possible, with the airing Cdramas I watch. Cdramaland is the sole World where I don't put forward my spoilbrat attitude. By reading spoilers there would be no reason to watch the episodes.
