How could Zhan Qiao be so adamant that Phantom Knight couldn't come back. This part of the script is a fight-or-flight to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
He will be in an up coming drama called The Way Home, so maybe in time this will open up more avenues for him.…
I don't think that the FL (Ren Min) is to be blamed for a redundant script. Here is what I wrote some days back. "It's a remake of many past Cdramas. I don't think that the story will stand out compared to previous and similar stories these last 3 years or so. But I don't mind for, there are several reasons to watch Ci Sha's acting. He has this elegance of a real character walking out from an ancient painting. His bearing for this role is convincing. His tone and prononciation are perfect for his script. It is a proof that he worked his craft meticulously.
As for Ren Min, she hold her fort and she's good at that. She doesn't have this strong nasal voice I could hear in some of her older characters. She is still this lively but not childish actress like some I won't name. She is good, very good as she carves her craft with time. Wish her to stay safe and healthy in this tumultuous environment.
Both of their acting are better than some actors/actesses in this story."

@Ella @Ysh Tomato Bad reviews come from people who didn't watch him in Blades Of The Guardians. A huge hit even in Europe. He was chosen by the best crew in the film industry for the role of He Yi Xuan and he nailed it. He has 3 movies lining to be aired. No other idol actors reach his talent. His movie portfolio is impressive compared to others He has already made his marks because he co-acted with welknown actors. Directors don't want pretty actors, they want only actors that know how to act.
In the 2017 Cdrama Midnight Foodstore, Mark Chao made an emotionally powerful performance. Here in this series he also surpasses my expectation. It's a feast to watch a strong cast. The director together with the casting department made a great choice.
In episode 18th, the cameraman drove me head first into an intense whirlwind. I thought that it would not stop. This whole scene describes perfectly how alcohol destroys an individual and the love one around. Showing this individual lose his judgment, drinks himself to sleep, numb reality and drown his emotions. In too many families this horror happens. I really like this creator for daring to put into visual the inner pain of both sides. Ten years damaging his brain and body. With what miracle will the script make him sobber? His therapy is for the remaining of his life.
I like also how this scene was not only in close doors. How many a time we come across with strangers intoxicated.
I CRIED. I just want to talk about Xia Zi and Minawar's dynamics. They're so Lacy.mp3 coded 💔 Minawar envied…
As it is very personal, I put my comment as a spoiler.
Your 1st paragraph is how I embrace the script as it describes my personal experience leaving everybody behind and when returning every now and then feeling the warmth.
Your 2 other paragraphs especially the third describing the weight of their love and the responsibility to bring success back home are heavy baggages on a young adult's shoulders regardless of keeping deep down the obstacles that go with.
