and Cheum, I get that he's your brother and you'd support him no matter what but REALLY??
Yeah! That was messed up. She should at least talk to him how wrong what he did was (not yell but at leas say something). She should have apologized to Boston as well (and taken her bro with her to apologize together) + let the friends know.
Boeing falling into Ray's trap is what I'm here for next week. After the murderous look Ray gave Sand, Sand was…
I would say that Ray is architect of his own misery right now. I think that Sand was trying to let Boeing down in a nice way but Ray as always had to go over the top and suggest threesome (he does it every time he feels threatened - it's just 1st time out of 4 so far, when somebody did not backed off). I think that Sand should have been clear with Ray about what he was doing and not make it ambiguous. I am wondering if perhaps Boston's "return to the fold" would be by him helping Ray get rid of Boening π€ (because apparently knowing that Atom lied about SA was just brushed off).
Probably in a second season. I don't think everything will be resolved in 1 episode.
There aren't that many series that get 2nd season (I would say hardly any), so they should wrap it up in next EP. I think they might need to use time-skip for some things. Or perhaps they would give us special EP π
I wonder about that. It seems like Boening is going along with whatever his partner likes. With Sand they were…
I was presented as Sand's dream and Ray joining in. I think it was similar with Boening - he doesn't seem to have any other dreams as being flight attendant.
Still 100% clutching onto my SandRayβ€, f*ck Boeing.
I think Sand is all in with Ray. He however is a kind person (who has no idea about the stuff Boening was doing to Top/Mew) and wants to let Boening down nicely. I can see how uncomfortable he feels around him and IMO he sent Ray away because Ray is Ray and his reactions are not what he needs right now (in other post we counted the number of times Ray suggested threesome with Sand present: 4 so far*! And we all know he hasn't meant any of them). *Amm (girl leaving bar with Sand in EP2), "Freddie Mercury" (Halloween), Nick (trailer in the mountains), Boening (bar)
Side note about Ray's reactions. You remember the pool scene when Sand gave him audio clip of Top/Boston? When Sad said "I want to talk to you about Mew" - Ray stopped playing game. When Sand said that people around Mew cannot help but fall in love in Mew - Sand snapped and grabbed the ball. Was he jealous that Sand fell for Mew?
I wonder about that. It seems like Boening is going along with whatever his partner likes. With Sand they were doing trivia as well, with Top there was food and some other thing (I don't remember exactly because Top/Mew aren't that interesting to me).
And he looks so different than in Not Me. There he was more sweet "around the edges" and here he is so buff I…
Boening/Top would not be to bad, as they were not dating. Boening/Mew would be questionable, as Mew is not a cheating guy (and we can presume that Boening cheated when he was with Sand) but on the other hand they were theoretically both single (the whole 2nd chance arc with Top was weird). Sand/Ray is totally different topic. They are in committed relationship and I really don't like people who think that they can destroy others relationship and get their happy ending. From experience in my family: once a cheater - always a cheater (tea of one instance: guy had wife + child, got affair with one of my aunt's and had daughter, then had affair with another woman - not sure if he already divorced 1st woman or 2nd affair was during his 1st marriage - and then married the said 3rd woman with whom he had 2 sons and of course cheated on her as well).
This is the THIRD TIME Ray had suggested/hinted either a 3some or orgy with Sand presence.1)at halloween party…
You forgot Amm (the girl in EP2 who left the bar with Sand). And he hasn't meant any of them, I am sure of that. It's just his "scare tactic" for potential competition.
Nick helping Boston with his mess was the last thing I expected to see but I don't hate it.
Nick couldn't let go (let's face it he was not feeling it with Daddy Dan), so when Boston gave him "opening" (screensaver picture) he jumped on it. He probably is a bit weary and hence tries to just be friends. Maybe that is why he returned to his old clothes? To restart?
Top is the true definition of pretty privilege, I have never seen watchers forgive a character so fast in my life.…
Perhaps they forgave him because he is simply not that interesting? I saw plenty of comments that Mew/Top is the least favourite couple or that people watch their scenes at 2x. Good ones make us love/hate them a lot, being invested in their stories.
I would say most got quick forgiveness (I am going to list just a few instances as there were more and more characters with issues): I don't see much hate towards Ray for basically cheating on Mew with Sand (or should it be on Sand with Mew?). Nick was a total creep with that spying but people still thought him and Sand were the best. Boston is now defended a lot. Sand stole from Nick (video clip). Now he gets a lot of backlash because for some it seems like he has dilemma whom to choose between Boening and Ray (IMO he is all for Ray but, as he is a kind person at heart and most likely has no idea what Boening was doing, wants to let Boening down gently) - why? Because it looks so out of character for him.
I personally don't get why Top is "top tier". What makes him so? Money? Both Ray and Boston come from quite wealthy families.
when did shiro's parents ask Kenji not to visit?? was it in s1?
If you go to GagaOOlala, you would find that there is New Years Special and The Movie. I am pretty sure it was in The Movie. The whole thing was: Shiro was asked to meet and then his parents told him that Kenji cannot come to New Year's celebration. Shiro was shocked and asked what is going one as not long ago mother called him and invited Kenji. He is being told that last time visit was fine but afterwards mother was sick for days (due to not actually being able to accept that her son has male partner), so not to repeat it they rescinded Kenji's invitation. I am not going to spoil how it ended π
Side note: why is his own mother calling him Shiro-san?
Well, you answered it yourself. Sand's been loving and caring and nice from the start, even toward people who…
I agree with you here and your comment under mine. Ray really is super possessive - the way he reacted when he thought Sand was doing it all for money: the betrayal he felt and then regret + relief when he learnt the truth. It was all so intense (even when he was jealous of Top he did not show such strong emotions and venerability). I think Sand might have been afraid of his reaction and needed space to deal with Boening in his own way. He should however communicate it with Ray (in the "money for rehab" fight he could have explained but he stayed silent). They both need some work to do to be in a relationship.
Disappointed with Sand in this episode. 11 episodes showing that he is head over heels in love with Ray only for…
I agree that he should have introduced Ray as his BF from the get go. I also think overall Boeing was making him uncomfortable. Perhaps he is afraid that he would hit on Ray and the history would repeat itself. We don't actually know how it went with Boening/Top (Sand said that Top stole his ex but sometimes people try to justify or gaslight themselves to avoid harsh truths). He might have wanted to nip the issue in the bud and it's not always easy with an audience, so he asked Ray to leave. So far he shown that he has quite strong moral compas (not ideal but still better than most) and he is in his core a kind man. It's not always easy to balance it. Ray on the other hand pulled the same card as in EP2 (invitating his "competition" to his house and suggesting pool and hinting at threesome), not to mention spying on them. Relationships need trust and both of those moves show lack of it. I am not trying to justify Sand's behaviour - I just hope it would be clarified in the next EP (which as some commenters said - should take like 3h to properly deal with all the issues π).
(Not me is one of my absolute faves)
I am re-watching it in anticipation for next week (and I just did marathon watching if it).
I think that Sand should have been clear with Ray about what he was doing and not make it ambiguous.

There should be more of an outrage about this.
Doing something like this is so harmful for actual SA survivors!
