There is a beach scene there's a boy playing guitar,,, yup, its a bl. The new trailer is pretty good, it looks more modern somehow but I liked the teaser more. Anyway this is finally becoming real guys :) Is there a second couple btw👀
This is another Japanese drama that makes no sense, with poor story and overacting.. it just seems silly and low…
I can tell you have never watched a wowow drama and that your main is kdrama. I don't need to check your watchlist either. Welp, it should be embarassing to make such generalisations without even watching a decent number of shows from a country 🤣
I'm really curious, is that a legit quote from the drama Doom at your service? Really? For reals??
I think I gave Navillera a 8.0. I loved the grandfather in the show and his wife too. The way the family came around eventually was great. But Song Kang's acting :') he's really handsome but I wish he hadn't been casted. Same for nevertheless (they should've given the show to Sol and Jiwan).
As for Move to Heaven, I like sad stuff but if the show is trying to make me feel sad (like if its trying to influence me with sad music) it feels inauthentic.
Ngl, I was about to throw hands when Hot Stove League came up 😂 I don't watch many kdramas and there are loads of under-hyped shows from other countries but a popular show that lots of people loved and I hated was The Hymn of Death. The sadness felt so forced and it was honestly quite underwhelming. I re-rated it rtnw to 5.5, but in my original fury, I'd given it a 4.5.
This was a light reprieve from all the dark shows I'm currently watching :) all of them are so adorable 🥰
I didn't really check out the casts so I completely missed Suzuki Jin but seeing him in the episode was so weird~ he looks so different with his red hair here, I saw him in Given and his vibe here is completely different!
As for Ida, such a wholesome guy. He's never had feeling like this before, let alone for another boy, but he's willing to feel this. He wants to judge Aoki for his character even though the suddenness of it threw him off at first :) As for Aoki, great guy, sacrificing himself like that for Hashimoto 😂
Cute episode, the light blues really cheered me up <3
Yup :) there are many jdramas where the raws can't be found anymore and I wasn't able to sync the soft subs. I had to used fdrama.net but I still thanked the subbber on d-addicts to appreciate their efforts because its their subs that were used :)
My first Japanese drama, where I don't see any yellow filter. Achievement unlocked.
I checked out your watchlist and I see that the majority of Japanese dramas you've watched are bls. Many of those had that yellowish effect but some like Kinou Nani Tabeta don't.
Majority of jdramas don't have that filter. Japanese dramas have brilliant cinematography, particularly NHK and Wowow dramas. They use brilliant camerawork.
I don't know what is your definition of good camerawork, maybe you prefer the expensive sets of kdramas, but jdramas deliver a wide range of meaningful and fun stories with camerawork that effectively conveys it

This was fun to read @Chibi :)

Thanks btw, I have an habit of opening spoiler tags like wrapped gifts and then get hit in the face by death spoilers or such and such :')

There's another subbed video linked in the comments but they just spontaneously did it and may not continue for episode 2.
