Not sure true or not but someone mentioned Wang Si Po, the director, bought the rights from Jay Walk for Si Ming.
Thanks for the info. This could be true, as Wang Yixu was the producer on FSMMaker so he could've done a deal ... Hopefully he did🙏🏼, so we're not barking up the wrong tree.
Well if that's the case then it will likely go to Yang Mi. But she's also doing another xianxia drama in Fox Spirit…
Exactly the thoughts I was having too & I loved YM's Bai Qian. Wang Yixu hasn't explicitly said the work's "Si Ming", but he was the producer on FSMM so it's possible he made a deal for the rights from Jay Walk. Hope there's more solid info on this soon...
Oh I hope not. That means we get a shit open ending. And LYT filming schedule is full - it will take years. Better…
She did quit. Production's intention wasn't to get rid of her, they wanted to pressure her to agree to a different script after they balked from the pressure of toxic fans concerned RJL's role would be diminished. On Weibo they called it a Ying Yang Script.
It's worked out well as "Heroes Zhi" is the better option. She gets to work with veteran actors, plus Cheng Yi, Zheng Yecheng & Wang Duo ( who's TBA).
First time I see her but I think she does a great job.
Tbh I only got up to ep 24, then got waylaid when I couldn't get subs. From what I saw it wasn't draggy, was funny + refreshing. LYT's part was wicked as she came in boss style. I hope she can do "Si Ming", & hope Wang Duo gets the dragon role as they had tension/chemistry, + he's perfect for the brooding, soulful type.
"Bloody Romance" was where I noticed her acting. The torture/crying scenes 🙁, she was just raw & lets go. All the actors in it were good as well.

1st Wang Duo now LYT. .. and you're new to Cdramas🎯. She's the FL in "Bloody Romance" too. She does heavy, torturous roles really well, so it's great to see her in a light role here.
Ep 23-24 was a rollercoaster. From squealing in delight, to tears, and then back to laughter when Kaka made the "clobber her over the head" comment. You can trust LYT's crying to really get you😿. Good thing I watch in the late eves, overwise it'll look I've lost the plot.
Ep 22 was moving, especially the singer's case & situation. The actor who plays the dad is good. Someone earlier called it regarding Keyuncha - I back what he's going to do👿! Also noticing the good bgm, plus we got a breakthrough with 🐰💗🐺.
I agree, however I don't think it is impossible. Maybe it was something that the high ups on youku recommended…
Not doubting there's a conference, just that it's the reason for the silence, we just don't know. Production + Youku were strange from the beginning. Communication from them would help, especially for the ppl who've paid.
Yes, "Noblemen" wasn't a BL book, the production seem to have added in elements, then it got cut down to "bromance". They could've done the same as Tencent and mass dropped eps. If the silence drags on, restlessness would set in, then it'll start trending (for the wrong reasons)… I want to see "Immortality" + "Winner is King"🙏🏼.

True, it's all speculating melons. AveX is no different, she's repeating it. She's not an industry insider, both her & Marcus are the same as us. They mainly get their info off SM + Weibo (usually 2 days off).
If Youku + the production's intention was to lay low, they've made the opposite- more chat. Someone said it was "hunger marketing" which I hope not as the fandom has been so good, why play games & jeopardise the next one. Tencent/Noblemen were professional, they published the schedule from the get go & did light promo & smoothed the way for them.

I'm on Weibo, no- 9 is Guan Xiaotong at Paris Fashion Week. The CN fandom has been on code so far, they know what they're doing. But Youku's silent treatment has only left us all to speculate... which will become the opposite of trying to keep a low profile soon.
The fans on Weibo are funny while they wait out too. One said they knew this was an investigative thriller but didn't realise it would be us going through the investigating & trill for the next episodes😮. While another called it "hunger marketing", having all the naysayers now saying sweet nothings to get this back on🤦🏽♀️...

While it's possible if we had legit info, what we got was someone "saw something on twitter, but not to quote me as I couldn't remember the specifics" ... then it seemed to become fact, while the Rose issue did happen & the consequence was to re-edit if they've found more issues.
There's also disinformation on here, someone said the drama was getting too popular as "trending on Weibo everyday"... I have never seen it on the top10, if I've missed it, it might've been 2x at the most. All this does is get ppl riled up. Youku is also heinous for not giving out info, leaving everyone hanging or coming up with conspiracies. But I get a feeling it'll drop soon.
The conference rumour doesn't make sense, it's not like they didn't know when it was & they scheduled to clash it. Production was on notice by BP's fandom. They'll have to go over footage as it was sloppy for it to happen, so it's not a stretch something else might've come up to cause a delay.

Lol, your list is getting longer & longer😁.
