Be interesting to know where they get the casting info from. Baidu, Douban still have Yang Mi & Gong Jun on there.

On a funny note, the discussions on Douban mirrored heres. They mention Zheng Yecheng/ Wang Duo/ Lui Xueyi for Chang Yuan. While Chen Ruoxuan's popular as well.

Totally agree. A "we will be back soon" is needed. They don't need to go into details if they're in the deeps about something but it's the least they could've done. I think the likelihood of it being censorship related in low in this case so it wouldn't surprised me if they just suddenly drop eps again either🤷🏽‍♀️.

I had a feeling ZYC was a melon as it seem convenient. They had interest from their variety show stint + filming "Hero Zhi". Same goes with BWJ. It's a revolving door until it gets official - if ever😯.

She was between Hengdian (Heroes) & Guangdong to film with Ou Hao. I've seen a picture of her on set but the 26th seems tight to start a new drama. If she's not finished "Heroes" that'll be 3 on the go.

Tencent should be mad at how self-serving YK's been. Tho "Noblemen" wasn't BL, they smoothed the way for JITD. I agree on TC being more cautious/strategic now, but I don't think the episode stoppage was BL related so I'm hopeful the others will come out.

I don't get that BL's the issue. Why let them release 8 eps, they could've just not given them the license. There wasn't a "frenzy", I remember a few moaners at the beginning re-ZXC's styling/brows, FXB's casting.

I don't think the Tencent ones will be affected🙏🏼, it feels more like something's going on at a Youku/production level. Their mistake was to leave everyone hanging, a short non statement would've settled everyone.

If you're after a BL heavy bromance, this ain't it. But as a detective, horror & part thriller with brotherhood/bromances in different forms, it's worth watching. Made with a creative production team, it's classy & gorgeous. And the men aren't bad either...

I came for him too🙂&Hong Yao. He did it again, no-one does complex, intense & soulful quite like him. Hope his curse of being caught in other ppl's cancellations is over. " Sword & Fairy 4 " might be next, so at least he gets to live longer there...

Apart from the poss BL elements (book's not BL), they might've tried to change the story which led to the over-editing & short eps.

The details in the last scene came from Wang Duo. The Director was open to suggestions, he originally suggested sitting & waiting. WD chose to walk to the mist. He said Shulin was proud, in control, & fatalistic in life😥.

True, he arrived in white & went out in black😎😢. The ending went awry. Some got whiplash & side eyed the M/L's, which wasn't the intention of the writers. They needed scenes to bridge the gap, but still a good drama when taken as a whole.

They used Rose's pic within a book of prostitutes on offer in a scene.
Netizens & Black Pink fans recognised her, production apologised then went quiet. We assumed they were doing re-edits & going through the rest of the footage, but it's gone on for longer. They haven't issued a reason so we're left with wild conspiracies, we just don't know RN.....

We don't know what's going on. The only thing to go on is they had to do edits after the "Rose" thing, then they disappeared over a cliff. Luckily, we're kept informed 🙄.
