Yesss, I loved those scenes as well!! & the one where ZJ drops the pottery & calls the police on ML, the looks they both gave each other😆. The restaurant scenes was good with all the small details showing ZJ put back in his place when wit LF's brother😅. Loved how they shot ZJ staring at him walking away with the bag of cash & his foot over the accelerator... but then the past tense RED Porsche cuts thru the shot with the him & the 'mentor' lady' of the past with her bag of cash🎬💯.

Even Wang Duo told his fans to run if they ever met a ZJ😮

From the previews, everyone has an agenda & the chars have started forming allegiances to take each other down. Can't wait to see how it plays out👻.

I love the scenes with ZJ & BXL & their micro-expressions to each other💥😅, for that matter, ZJ's to the ML when they have confrontational scenes. BXL was not what I expected, love Maggie Huang in this role, & WD is bringing ZJ to life😱.

Exactly! The clips going round had it she was a sugar momma but I was not expecting her to be the one to advise him to get with BXL. Then the lawyer guy is suss to me as he seems driven to direct them. Also ML is a ❔mark as the whole yr gap before getting curious or concerned is not sitting right...Actually, anything goes rn. At least we know ZJ's rap sheet keeps getting longer with each ep😱🙃.

* Agree about MXL's accident. The way ZJ reacted to her saying she'll tell ppl HE took her car in for work made it look like he didn't, but she had one over him now either way.

I wish they released more EPs in one go. Ep7 left me hanging, especially with the appearance of the 'mentor' char, & the beginning of ZJ & BXL's backstory, but it's 1 a day for the weekend now :(

I love it, the messier the better😅. The teaser was on WeTV. It was about ZJ's early (equally messy) life lol.

Each day ZJ's 'crimes' are piling up😭. The teaser for ep 6 (don't know if you seen) about his older lady 'mentor' also shocked me. She was not what I thought she'd be towards him.

I saw that too🙃. Everyday the story's expanding, wished they uploaded more eps a day. They're all suss to me rn.

If a friend hadn't recc 'Heroes' I would not have picked it up too. But it turned out good, it's V fast paced. I can see why they picked this book as it has the same mystery, puzzle-like plots, with reversals. & the ML & FL's dynamics are slightly similar in both dramas. Also 90% of the cast here were also in 'Heroes'.

I don't understand the language either😟. From some of the spoiler clips out there, they're doing a lot of 'red herring' drops, so it'll be interesting how/if they follow the book's ending. I feel maybe not as the ML & 2FL's relationship has been changed to being less close. But I think they may keep it to a violent end, if going by their other drama.

Same, the humour was not what I expected lol. But going on their last drama 'Heroes', I should've known they'll do madcap/ black humour. I loved ep 3, it's going really fast so far & wanted to get onto 4 but it weren't avail in my region, so have to wait now :(

I haven't read the whole book, but kinda know the ending from the reader comments &... it's more messier than the synopsis👻. It is a psychological thriller with red herrings & reversals. The 3 chars have their versions of the story. The infidelity & 'missing girl' set-up plays into how they interact initially etc.

Hope it is actually available internationally tomm :(
