Bingo, this is a very accurate description it was forced choice he didn't choose anything, living even as a mortal was really his real choice not that at all.

That was a devastating scene, made it even more logical to annihilate them all, not the opposite. They could have changed all of this outcome if they only gave us 1 minute of his presence at the end of the drama bc that means his suffering has paid him well at the end but says to who!

I don't agree with "he chose his fate" Choose what? There's no choosing here he just gave up, It's a fk depressing message there's no choosing, your resisting is futile nothing will change whatever you do, according to this drama's message, you will never get a HE, he started as a trash, and ended as a trash in everyone eyes! You don't have anything and you will end with nothing so what did he choose exactly, his own demise? which means he gave up already with no light at the end of the tunnel, it's a great message indeed.
