i thought it couldn't be that bad considering most dramas set in the countryside seem to know what they're doing…
For realll, it was worse than low budget shorts. At least those have a semblance of a plot and some structure. Who thought game change was a good idea??? I checked the ratings and it didn't even rank (as expected). It wasn't even in TVer top 50 when it aired, if I remember correctly. All the Japanese roasting it in reviews, only giving higher rating for Motoki
That Game Change review... Pretty much how I felt watching this. It made me want to tear my hair out. They didn't even try to act in this drama. Anyone who tells me this is even a remotely good drama must be delusional on a level I cannot comprehend
I absolutely adore Sairi, Thank you sm for subbing!
She's so underrated!! I wish people talked about her more. I need to get back to subbing this one. It's very triggering at times, but I think I can pull through and finish it.
This drama was such a masterpiece with the way it explored each character. It did feel like a mini-asadora, except every main character had a story of their own and you could see them grow. There were so many iconic scenes I'll remember forever. But what's most remarkable about this drama is its soundtrack. It's really sad it's not available anywhere though. My favorite character from this drama was Satomi, she was the cutest and was such an amazing friend to everyone <33
That Tokyo MPD drama review.... I don't think anyone could have worded my opinion better. And this gets S2? Goodbye. How much are they investing in this man?
It's crazy that Nagisa would treat his mom to an almost 22k yen meal, especially in this economy... He must have had a lot of savings. I guess they're going with the typical hiding a dark past that's not really dark for Ooedo. I wonder if they'll go with romance for the leads since they're spending time together and talked about their love lives. It's TBS Tuesday after all.
Ahhhhhh finally it's on MDL <333 I've been looking forward to this one ever since they announced it. My fave director, Kyoumoto Masaki and Matsudai Kouya!! What a delight. Hoping it's good!
This was quite something... Seeing Yamaguchi Takaya in a BL after Kamen Rider Saber was definitely nice, but I can't say I could feel for the main character since he was a scumbag. Well, at least Takaya's character was nice. They did wrap up one of the side storylines, but they totally forgot about the initial one.
