The Historical Drama Club wanted to make a list of historical dramas for the first Hall of Fame. The HDC is a group on the forums. When we started the idea of a list, there was discussion about what is / is not a historical drama (some period dramas were tagged as historical, in some cases). We decided on two lists: period dramas and historical dramas (the criteria for each are on the ROUND #1 list)

This list is the Period Drama; not the Historical Drama List
