Finally the confession episode arrived. Makiko is clearly making moves on Junichi, so let’s see what happens. He’s around 35 now, so I’m curious how he will be judged for a crime he committed when he was still a minor and what the legal consequences will be. I’m also wondering about Junichi’s nurse girlfriend. Is she there just to create an obstacle in the Junichi–Makiko dynamic, or does she have a bigger role in the story? Junichi once said something like, “When I came here, she followed me,” he just said it, that’s it. I’ve started liking Naoto more in the last two episodes. Anyway, let’s see how episode 7 turns out.
I expected it to be a more engaging series. I also really didn’t like the kissing scene at all. The size difference between them is nice, but their relationship could have developed in a very different way. The main ML is actually a pretty boring person overall. Unfortunately, there isn’t much chemistry between them. I even had to skip certain scenes despite the series being so short. There isn’t much of a plot, and they didn’t build a deep relationship either. I think Ogami is more of a kinky type, while Kano is extremely depressed. It definitely could have been written better. 5/10.
I enjoyed all the episodes I’ve watched so far, except for episode 24. There’s something I don’t understand: in the books I read or the shows I watch, no matter how kind, gentle, or even childlike the male character is toward the woman, the writer eventually includes a scene where he treats her like crap. The ML has already suffered from headaches countless times, and whenever he went to the FL, he was happy with her and set aside his cruel side. So what was the point of writing those scenes in episode 24? In the end, a misogynistic side of male characters always comes out. I didn’t really enjoy episode 25 either. It was satisfying that the Grand Dowager died, finally we’re rid of one villain. I hope Prince Duan is next. I just want to watch the finale and be done with this show now.
Right now, I’m watching episode 24, and I didn’t expect to see ML like that. I wish they hadn’t included this scene in the drama. I really hope he didn’t kill the guards. I didn’t like this episode. Since ML has been such a green flag up until now, watching him grab FL’s arm and drag her was really hard to watch too… It just felt so out of character and uncomfortable.

It really is strange that everyone falls for Makiko. She’s aware of the weakness people have toward her and acts accordingly. I agree with you about Keisuki, he’s lying. As for her relationship with Junichi, yes, it’s possible that she’s heard about it. Junichi’s weakness for her is starting to annoy me though; he leaves his young nurse girlfriend waiting at home, yet with just a single word from Makiko, he’s ready to go to her side.
