Can’t compare to the novel, after the MingYe dream arc the writing really became messy and the characters flattened. Li Susu, Jiwu, even Siyin, I was more impactful that TTJ only started to love after Xiwu death, how he hugs her body and starts to feel everything she did for him before, it was like when Jimi starts loving Phoenix after she kills him in Ashes of Love. But in the drama TTJ can feel love before so the tower moment is not as impactful as it should. Also, the messy editing, missing scenes, the Fox not reincarnating, Li Susu not saying the line “the girl that received the embroidered veil was already in love with you”. The fact thathe novel child Susu tells TTJ she likes him dressed in white and that is why he changes his dark garnet to white garnet in the final, but in the drama she never told him that so it lost meaning. Urgh, I’m just mad...I think I will read the novel again to clean my mind from this terrible third arc.

Actually he remembers everything but decided to stay away in the mortal realm, TTJ in the novel was not as good as in the drama so he really thinks he should stay away but when he see their daughter he can’t let go, but he does not tells Susu he remembers everything from get go, he takes some time.

Oh yes, I knew they would go with this end since day 1. I’m not moved, glad I read the happy ending in the novel
