No, he does not. He met her when she was a child that is why he knows her. He always got a soft spot for her and didn’t kill when he could. But he does not know Ye Xiwu in the present timeline. In the present timeline he was killed by Xiao Lin in a fire, that is why he hates Gongye Jiwu. This is only explained in the novel extras.

It probably got cut because of the episodes but it wasn’t long in the novel too. Basically Yiue tribe is very powerful and TTJ got the army and went full berserk against Tantai Minhan, he got into power quickly and his reign was based on fear, he would make his tiger terrorize people and kill everyone against him mercilessly. It is the war against Sheng that took time and required more effort and battles.

They didnt apply soothing filters to the makeup, this is actually easy to do in post production I’m a big disappointed with this detail. Could’ve being better

Ming Ye is a flood dragon, he was the God of War in the last battle of immortals vs demons. Tantai Jin wants to awake his soul and make him a demon to use him but Susu and Xiao Lin step up to avoid it, then they all end up inside the mirror that contains the memories of Ming Ye and Tantai Jin, Xiwu, Xiao Lin, Ye Binchang and others start living Ming Ye’s memories as if they were the people there.

That is exactly the point in the novel, he does not just kill, he makes everybody who betrays him suffer worse than death. He is really evil and the drama still makes him soft compared to the novel. He will just change because the FL gives him a love line.

She does that because she has no other way. Yes, she loves him, but she failed to destroy the evil bone with the nails and by then she was already dying, so the only thing she can do is seal his evil bone. She comes back to the future, back to being Susu.
