Hmm... This is based on actual historical events but is taking more of a historical fantasy kind of approach. Not that there's anything wrong with that. My issue is that I'm not feeling much depth to most of the characters. Especially the female villains are coming off as one-dimensional or cartoonish.
For how long did you watch the show? Even jcw scene !!!??? Actually this show was marked as 15+ when I watched…
I kinda skipped through the jcw scene once I realized what was happening. Then we tried about 15 minutes of episode 2, until a certain other scene came on. So I'll be continuing it by myself ๐
Somehow I missed that this show contained n*dity and I made a mistake by watching with my (conservative asian) mom. Needless to say, she was horrified lmao. The content rating on this page should be updated, I was only expecting violence and profanity.
ENA has a track record of picking dramas with unconventional plots and actually doing them well, but this one…
It sounds like the alternate personality is pursuing the 2nd ML, after she already broke off with the ML. Even if her self still has feelings for her ex, it's not cheating. But whether there's emotional two-timing involved, kind of depends on the writing.
yaa the english scenes were not good , the pronounciation was bad , i tried to listen multiple times but it was…
I found out there are subtitles for those scenes if you switch the subtitles option to english [cc], assuming you're on netflix. I had to rewind with the subs on.
you're so boring if you didn't like the first episodes I'M SORRY
Well, you don't have to be sorry. I'm really just too old to watch that much childish banter lol. But clearly their relationship is maturing, so I'm glad.
Not really a fan of episodes 1-3, but I thought ep 4 was better. Finally, signs of their relationship maturing beyond childish teenagers! And the ML's colleague is the MVP.
Also this is petty but I really couldn't hear half the lines of that actor playing the douchebag colleague. Jung Somin doesn't seem completely fluent, but her English was much more understandable than his.
Korean dramas are representation of unrealistic scenarios only.
There are clearly a lot of scenes meant to be humorous, but they aren't very effective or original. I'm actually fine with a more melodramatic style, my issue is that nothing is really clicking for me, including the emotional scenes. It's like the writers are telling me, "they're childhood friends and they start bickering once they meet again", or "she's putting on a strong front but is actually broken inside", but it all doesn't feel natural. Idk why.
I'm looking forward to this, but I'm a bit wary of this screenwriter. I thought A Time Called You was kind of a huge mess, and that was also an adaptation of a popular source material. Fingers crossed that won't happen here, but I heard they already made major changes to the webtoon's plot...
The teaser wasn't what I expected. Somehow I didn't realize that her 2 personalities are in love with different people. Wasn't this supposed to be a healing second chance romance? That sounds more like a set-up for a messy/angsty, complicated love triangle. Now there are about 10 ways for the story to go wrong but then again, why not? At least it's something different for once, haha
Hmm, I don't know why I'm finding this a little contrived? Like I'm somehow not convinced that these people were childhood friends who have not seen each other in ages. The script feels like it's missing something. Is thoughtfulness the word? So far, the adorable Jung Somin has charmed me with her liveliness. But the show... not so much.
Okay, I got tired of reading so many conflicting stories of this case with LJW here and all over soc med, so I…
So... he did not gain consent from her, but her injuries couldn't count as evidence or were possibly faked. And she was still friendly and asked him out for a meal again after it happened. But she wasn't after his money...
Well, I'm kind of on the fence about this. He's obviously the one in a position of greater power, as a celebrity with an agency behind him. But there are legitimate reasons to doubt the both of them.
Um, Shin Hye Sun is almost a decade younger than him... Do you want someone even younger? ๐คจ
Well, you can have your opinion I guess. I personally think LJW is a very average actor and he has never impressed me, no opinion on his looks. I'm watching this mostly for SHS.
I'm a bit apprehensive about how they will portray DID in the story, but all the characters being announcers sounds interesting to me. And I love formal workplace attire, especially suits!
