MANY of the actors who portray BL/LGBT characters are straight. it's a crossover thing...like classical artists playing country and jazz. that's why they call it acting. duh.

his legacy will live on. Secret Love Affair, starring the younger Yoo Ah In, was one of my top 10 favorite series. many thanks to this talented director for the ride. he will be missed. may his memory be for a blessing. "alev ha shalom".

i'm really immersed in this series. the acting and writing have me on the edge of my seat...just like the professor. but i know the plot twists are going to be a killer for me, since i've read some of the spoilers. at this point i'm really totally confused about the 2 different actors playing Kim Se Jun's father. in ep 2, we see a relatively good looking dad who shoots basketball (actor Kim Jong Tae). then in later episodes, the actor is queesy looking (sorry) Huh Joon Ho. can someone do a spoiler if necessary and tell me what in the world did i miss? is this part of the twisted plot? TIA.

in the discussion menu about the OST, there's some good info sharing and discussion. but in general, i'm pretty amazed that a Chi BL series can have so many songs from the US. I've seen many CBLs with music from the US , the lead-in song for each episode of Deep In is "Back to You", a beautiful song by Cayson Renshaw, who's originally from San francisco. thoughts on how this happens? as a musician i know we feel a brotherly bond with players from all over the world. but how the sharing of music to a communist country's productions like china can happen is amazing to me.

may i just say, "Back to You" the song at the beginning of the episode is so perfect for this series?

all i can say is wow! from so many levels you helped analyse this show for all of us. it is just so complicated to start with (show within a show). and the added depth of each character makes me need "cliff notes" so many thanks!

Going to watch this JUST because I abhor cancel culture. Hell, the show might not even be any good but I don’t care. If my support for these actors and show can trump the evil netizens, im in! Go Justin!

preach, brother! unless you're in a fascist/dictator controlled society, entertainment is not forced on you. feel free to avert your eyes and watch some looney toons cartoons or something that won't offend you. BTW, ABO desire (the best of omegaverse stories) was amazing! the acting, production, and OST was off the charts.

absolute 10/10 for me. this series sucks you in, makes you feel what you never thought you'd feel, and spits you out.

ditto on the dancing Wayu does. this guy is so damned talented. and yes, their chemistry is off the charts. at first blush, like in "My Stand-In", the 2 ML don't look like the perfect beautiful TBL couple, but they click so much more that all those "pretty" BL couples. amazing casting.. the side characters keep the energy moving along. love this!

episode 10 and there wasn't a moment when i wasn't crying. giving this series a 10/10. the emotionally charged acting, production, and topping it off, the OST was amazing. i dont know if there are enough tissues in my house to get through the last 2 episodes. as ilya rozenov says, "i am dead".
