the OST completely hooked me on this one. it took some searching to find it, but if you're totally impressed with the OST, it's composed by koji nakamura. you can find it here: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ1hWPTYmAI&list=OLAK5uy_k-3OSxK9nXuKACOmFIuYF95BSislWLu9Y together with the art-like quality of the cinematography, i can totally overlook any of the negative and questionable thoughts i initially had. joy and peace are found in the oddest places. this was an enjoyable slice of humanity.

I've only gotten 7 episodes into this show, but i am enjoying the main couple's openness and frank relationship. very refreshing in a CDrama. but my favorite part is the opening song! Little Sweet Drama, by Liu Meilin. It has some country-western feels to it, and goes so well with the show's personality. i also love Xu Kai, he's a shy little kitty.

OMG! about halfway through watching Quartet on Netflix. all i can say is the OST gets a 10/10! every single ep had music i love, and love to play. and BTW, if they DID play vivaldi's "winter" from the 4 seasons i'd be thrilled, but they didn't. the entire feel of the players' relationship was just so accurate in a music ensemble. when you are with your stand partner/co-players, playing beautiful music and working towards making it flow brings you together like no other way. needing to ebb and flow in your relationship makes the music (and life) ripple like the "maldau".

Yes! OMG the jazz tunes in this OST are hot! I need to research the composers. ♥️

True, but the 21 episode format is only the TV version. at this point, we're all streaming it. so the MDL techies should definitely change it to 34 ep so we can be accurate on our watchlist counts.

i'm not usually a fan of "otherworld" fantasy type stories, but i am really enjoying the characters' personalities. it's difficult for me to keep up with the different clans and their multitudes of kin. that said, it's enjoyable. i'm watching on Netflix, but is there a "cut" and "uncut" version? possibly on another platform? someone mentioned the ever-present Chai com limitations. are there different versions? along those lines, does MDL have a method of tracking which shows are full or cut versions? TIA

I just found this tonight on Netflix. F15s and romance?! Hot damn Sign me up! I’ll let you know my thoughts but after seeing chillingdoors’ wonderfully written critiques my interest is in Mach 1. TBC.

i'm on episode 5 and really enjoying this. sakura is somewhat of a true warrior in that she is bound and determined. but she acts so darned childish it makes me want to give her a spanking. and just a random note, i noticed her "mogen david" (star of david) on the wallnext to the insode of her door. episode 5 at 2:52. is she jewish? (member of the tribe here). and IMHO tendou is very cute in a rough-around-the-edges way.

Su yu tells wu bi's cousin he will never leave wu bi. even though it's not absolutely a happy ending bc you don't see wu bi leaving the hospital and such, the complete scene infers they stay together and live happily everafter.

no, DO watch the last episode! just NOT on the usual streaming places. the last minute is censored on those locations. watch it on youtube, and you'll get the true very last moments of the scene. very happy ending the chicoms don't want to be seen. many thanks to youtube and MDL subscribers for sharing this secret. 10/10 for this show.
