Title My Fellow Citizens!
The show is getting more entertaining as we progress. Episode 12 was a little on the emotional side, and we got to witness another dimension to the characters, especially Park Hoo Ja. I wanted to sympathize with her, but she is too rigid for me to think that she would want that pity, fictional character or not. That is not a flaw in writing - I think it sends the message across about her personality. The ending was ominous too, but the show did not lose its charm. The interaction between Jung Gook's father and Mi Young's mother made me teary-eyed; whatever they do, they're parents. In the end, I think this is what this episode was about: whatever sort of person Park Hoo Ja, Jung Gook, and anyone else is, they are somebody's children, and whatever kind of person each somebody is, they are parents.
