Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
The only thing Jai did to Teh was when he kiss him ''the rehearsal way''. But Teh did fall in love way before…
No, you didn't say that and I didn't mean to make it sound that way. I don't believe Teh fell for Jai, the man, I think that Teh fell for Fang, and that was manipulated by Jai. I don't think that Teh knows (maybe now he does) that he has emotional problems. I'm hoping that the break-up causes him to self-reflect, since I know that therapy will be a long shot. If Teh hits delete, then we will know where he stands.

To be honest, I do believe that people can overcome this type of situation because I've seen it in real life. It just takes a lot of work on the part of the couple and from what I saw at the end of Ep 5, Teh is not there yet. He tells Oh that he stopped seeing Jai, but Jai doesn't want to see him anyway. He also told Oh that he never thought of breaking up with him, showing that he thought he could have both men. This type of thinking will takes time to work on. While I believe it can be done, the first step is recognizing you have a problem, and after the end of Ep. 5, I don't know if Teh is there yet.

Teh doesn't yet realize that he is a narcissist, and until he gets help, this will be a pattern in all of his relationships. I like how Oh did not change his mind and told Teh to get out, even after allowing Teh to embrace him.

Sorry for jumping into your conversation, but Teh is 100% responsible for his multiple deceptions, even if he is uncentered. Yes, he did not have sex with Jai, but he actually confessed to him after he was confronted by Oh. Even when he was turned down by Jai, kept trying. Most people will have a hard time forgiving multiple deceptions (too many to count) more than a single kiss.

I believe that Teh fell for the Jai "character" because to be honest, two narcissists will not work out in the long run. Even the way the singing scene was shot, Jai is illuminated with a fuzzy filter, the singing dims, then a sound similar to a record scratch ends the trance. Teh then looks at Oh and you can see the shift in Teh's face, from fantasy to reality. Beautiful acting by the way by BK.

On Call It What You Want Jun 21, 2021
I thought this series was excellent, I hope that one day there will be a series that calls out fan service. However, I do not agree that BL is about two straight guys falling in love. Usually it is 2 straight actors having to play men falling in love, then being forced into borderline sexual harassment known as fan service, because of contracts. Even early Japanese BL manga such as Love Mode had the ML (Reiji) as bisexual, and this is explicitly stated. The only character straight character was Izumi, and yes that was a problematic 1990's era plot. Ai no Kusabi did not indicate the MLs were heterosexual either. Even though BL has been a Japanese genre for decades, you don't really see that type of fan service. The actors usually sing or perform scenes, but they do not do the sexual stuff. I'm glad that much of the Filipino BL came out during the pandemic, so hopefully they don't start the fan service stuff.

I didn't dislike this, but it was different to what I was expecting. I watched all of it in one day, so probably…
I may be wrong, but I think that it wasn't about the scandal itself as much as the lead up to the scandal and what took place behind the scenes. The clues that were given such as 2 Night, Motivation Village, the names Bas, Tee, Tae, that the original director was replaced, as well as the whispers that an actor from 2M2 may have been sexually harassed, are woven into the story about James and Ait. The only shade not thrown was at the author of 2Moons even though she didn't like the original casting and was heavily involved in the casting in 2M2. I don't remember the original trailer, but you could be correct. Just like the original trailer for A Tale of 1,000 Stars showed Phupha as a soldier as written in the novel, but changed to a forest ranger in the final series. I 100% agree about the fandom, but it's the industry that drives it because of money.

I like this so far. I thought the acting was good, and judging by the Thai subs, it is mostly in dialect. The main characters are from the village, so no fish out of water people from Bangkok. The transwoman (sorry she isn't credited and he refers to her as sister) is not comic relief. So far, she is not boy-crazy, and flirtatious as often depicted in Thai drama. The music is really nice too. It doesn't have the production budget of a GMMTV series, but I can live with that.

I thought Thailand, Vietnam, etc. were pretty warm/hot year-round. Why am I always seeing these BL guys in sweaters,…
I think that it depends on the elevation. When I watched some behind the scenes videos about Tale of 1000 stars, much of the cast and crew were freezing. Drake who is from Northern Thailand said his grandmother live in the mountains so he was used to it, but the central Thais were freezing.

I feel that Teh will do this to Oh-aew if he stays with him. Teh wants to be a star, which requires him to erase his life with Oh. Teh is a lot like the Hangli, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Yes, Teh was only devastated after Oh-aew accepted Bas' public confession. It has been difficult for me to emotionally connect to this series because the protagonist is so flawed and selfish. I usually do not want the lead to go for the second lead, but I was okay with Bas. People are flawed in real life, but we also tell our friends to dump the Teh's in real life too. Someone on Reddit said that this particular director's projects always end in break-up or death, but I'm not sure if that's true.

As much as Teh fucked up and clearly has a lot of issues to work out regarding what he truly likes, I can't help…
I do not feel sorry for Teh, but agree that Jai set the whole situation up. Jai even told Oh-aew that it was his directing style, but because Teh is inherently selfish too, so he could not see Jai for who he is. Jai is not very well liked considering that nobody in Jai's circle came to see the play, and after Oh-aew left, Jai just walked out, observed and walked back in. I didn't care, unlike season 1 where I kind of felt bad for Teh. He has done this before and was forgiven, so let him be a star, in the closet, having random hookups and being the next Jai.

I love how Teh told Oh that he stopped seeing Jai, as if Jai still wanted to see him?!? The player got played, and because he is always used to having the upper hand with Oh, Teh didn't see it coming.

I heard it has happy ending , i dont know how they will manage hope they make like 5+ years later type of thing…
As of last episode, for Teh to be a superstar, he will need to delete his Instagram and live in the closet. By then, Oh will have gone on with his life since he is resilient and not closeted. Hopefully Teh will make the right decision.

I don't think so, but the work required to achieve the happy ending cannot be done in one episode.
Sorry! I get it now. Even the whole 2M2 recasting debacle was a hot mess.

Very sad. At least J9 were just friends, not a couple, but China is super strict even though they are making $$$$ on WOH and GDC (I can't remember the series name).

I didn't know the CIWYW casts' phones were taken away. I thought that series was an expose. I even read Aum's interview where he says that much of it is based on true situations.

I agree that his may be the 2nd of a trilogy, but I think the viewers are starting to get tired of the angst. I believe that Teh is redeemable because he is young, got caught up in a manipulation while he thought that he was living the dream. I will be very disappointed if the series contract is worth more than his personal relationships. If he hits delete, then I honestly think that Teh should find someone like Jai so they can mind f#@& each other daily. If this relationship is to be saved, Teh will have to do a lot of hard work, starting with not deleting his instagram. He will also need to be honest with Oh and discuss with Oh what he wasn't getting from him.

Episode 6 was a really nice way to end this series. Yes, Kiko overacted when he found out he's human immunodeficiency…
They just released episode 1 on YouTube and I watched it, but I wasn't going to continue to watch it because i thought it was going to be a fetish for certain men, since it seems like all of the men could be in the "daddy" category. Now that i know about the seropositive results, I will watch it because while in social work school i did an internship at an HIV/AIDS organization, and yes, living with HIV achieve true love, happiness and good health.

If LOTR is Lord of the Rings, I'm not sure because I didn't watch the movies.

I understand, but that's how people end up in a 30 year toxic relationship and when they wake up, it's too late…
True, this is fantasy, just like Teh's feelings for Jai are rooted in fantasy, but the creators of the series are deliberately playing with our real feelings as well. In this series, most viewers would be more emotionally aligned with the Oh-aew character, not Teh. So when Oh gets messed with, so do the viewers. It's kind of like a Jai tactic, but I'm over analyzing.

Forgiveness is a wonderful gift for both parties, the problem is, Teh keeps repeating the same mistakes, he is not a one and done person. That's where it turns dysfunctional for the person doing the forgiving, when the, "our relationship is different" mindset comes in.

There will always be victim blamers in the world. That's how the Teh's and Jai's continue to hook people in.

No matter what, I'm still gonna be rooting for Teh and Oh til the very end. I don't think it's abnormal to develop…
I understand, but that's how people end up in a 30 year toxic relationship and when they wake up, it's too late and they have too much invested emotionally and financially to leave. It's very difficult to go back to being friends with someone you once loved. It does happen, but it's rare, and usually it is following and amicable breakup, not a betrayal.
