I'm the twisted sister and I like this. They saved it by adding Tarn and Lom because they know it's too much to ask the audience to bond the original moons, actors 12-18.
Santa is leading man material. I watched an interview and he says that Cake is a lot like him, and that his friends…
See-Eiw is self absorbed, partly because he is the youngest, and he's the only idiot who doesn't realize how Cake feels about him. I'm not a gay man, but judging by how Eiw reacted when he found out that he had romantic feelings for Cake, his fear is driving him. With Cake out of the picture, he made new friends, came out of his shell, and because less dependent on Cake. Eiw just hasn't been able to allow himself to believe that Cake loves him romantically. Even his friends are rolling their eyes because he is so clueless.
I think that directors and production need to cast Earth in something other than these angsty shows. I would love to see him in a comedy. I know this sounds silly, but Earth is hilarious in real life, and I think that he can pull off throwing shade, and wiping down one wall, then the other with an a$$hold talking s#!t. Earth is cute, while Santa is more conventionally handsome, with a masculine face. Maybe Earth should play a punk in a street gang, or a guy wrongly accused of murder. Anyway, I would like to see a change.
It's the negative part of BL fandom that wants straight actors so they can fantasize about them. Maybe some viewers are homophobic and it makes them uncomfortable to see a more fem man in a lead role. It's odd because as much as they hate fem men, they stan trans characters. I have no hate for trans characters, just pointing out that they may be more comfortable with a heteronormative situation, such as a male and transwoman.
I posted Twitter links to Earth's Twitter posts. I don't speak Thai, so I don't know what the screenshots say.
From what I understand, people were saying that Earth acts too gay. Earth had to stand up for himself on Twitter. There was a link on this board a few weeks ago. I didn't come to this board often because the viewers here were saying the same things.
OK, I'm going to say it. The acting in this is unbalanced. Santa is incredibly talented. What I like about Santa…
Santa is leading man material. I watched an interview and he says that Cake is a lot like him, and that his friends even teased him about playing himself. I think that Santa's acting shows a vulnerability that is rare in younger actors, like when he told his friend that he is not okay. I like Earth, and he has to put up with a lot more BS than Santa does. Even in this series, people were talking crap about his mannerisms, and even taking it to social media. I just wish them would leave him alone, or admit that they are homophobic, and work on it.
Thua and Akk are literally the same person.. doing bad things for what they believe is the right thing... so it…
I think that Thua is one of the more complicated characters in this series. He is class leader, he just lost his dad, his mother remarried some weird quasi abusive man, and she is always working, and he has to stuff his feelings because he wants his mother to be happy. Sometimes teens will do strange things to keep themselves grounded and try to maintain some sort of stability. Thua did not use a pro-social method, and I agree, he is not better than anyone.
If you enjoyed Miracle of the Teddy Bear, Grey Rainbow and History 3 : Making Our Days Count. this is the perfect…
Thanks for the info. I skipped Miracle of the Teddy Bear, because of the other two, especially MODC. I will skip this too. I can't handle the sad stuff. The only sad show I could handle was Ai no Kusabi, but almost every story was gays in the cemetery back then.
Especially when the title of the series makes it seem like it will be BL. Once you start watching you realize…
Classic gay baiting. I'll come back to this board to check on it, but the only couple I see is the fujoshi and the singer. I would rather watch the worst BL (Check Out) than gay baiting.
Alas, I don't think a production like this has any intention of pondering a real life concern like that. There…
I don't know about hilarious, but I think that's how I envision my life if I dated a player. It would be a one and done for me, but i see people keep giving these guys another chance.
If they had your ending, the gays must be saintly, virtuous, always in activist mode, and lawful good faction on MDL would flip out about gay stereotypes, etc, then we would get a lousy second season of Fah winning Sher back. Pass me the cardboard ending please. haha
ALSO, can you guys recommend me japanese bls? I've been noticing bls from japan are the ones i've loved the most!…
Older Movies below. I'm waiting for the film version of Cherry Magic to come out. I love that show.
Seven Days: Mon-Thurs Seven Days: Fri-Sun Hidamari ga Kikoeru (I Hear the Sunspot) Doushitemo Furetakunai - No Touching Allowed Hana wa Saku ka - Does the Flower Blossom
Not BL but slice of life with an older gay couple Kinou Nani Tabeta? - What did You East Yesterday?
This is the 3rd book and they've added two new characters, Lom and Tarntatch. The actors are new, and need more coaching. The 2M2 cast wasn't that great either when they started. I watched 2M2 way after it aired because the actors themselves were so likable in an interview. I still prefer the OG cast, but I'm willing to give these guys a chance.
I've never dated a f#ckboi and I never would. I just don't have that level of trust, so I'm skeptical about this couple. Because both Sherbet and Fahlan were players, it will be interesting to see how they build a trusting relationship. I saw the cover of the original novel and it seems like they will have true love, but what will the journey be? I think this is the first Asian drama where the actors haven't waxed off their facial hair, and it's refreshing to see, especially James.
I have a feeling you will like the ending. Perhaps you should give the last two episodes a try?
What you wrote is beautiful. The reason why I felt pessimistic is, I'm older, and I know people like In and Sasiwimol. I just had a confrontation with someone very close to me because they love a person like In and just will not let go. I said that both of them are bullshit, because this has been going on for several YEARS! This person is similar to Sasiwimol, loud, attention seeking, but alone when the big events happen, because she does not cherish the people who matter. A person who would tattoo the name of a mutual with the "In" type, while having their own children. I know this is TMI, but I see In and Sasiwimol in people I know in real life. They are the people who think I'm "brave" but guess what, I'm just living. I travelled solo to Thailand without speaking a word of Thai, because I wanted to, so I did. I hope that In will figure it out someday. I would have liked to have seen him give in and accept Wang's love, and learn to live.

Thanks for the encouragement. I watched the last 2 episodes. I'm happy for Wang, but I feel terrible for In and Sasiwimol. I thought the ending was a bit pessimistic, that older people are too set in their ways to change. There are a lot of younger people today who are set in their ways as well. We were all rooting for In.
