1. The nerfed down version of Jinman. Yeah I know this season is to showcase Jian's growth as the CEO but hey,if we think realistically, Jian still has a looooooong way to go as to become a decision maker for something like Murthehelp. She didn’t even know its existence like few years ago,distanced herself from it. Going face to face war with something so massive like Babylon without Jinman,idk how is this even possible. They just kept Jinman out of picture out of the time when he should be the one guiding Jian in this season.
2. Bale's death. It was waaaayyyy too early. I admit Kusanagi is a very stratagic villain but she is also extremely narcissistic person. She has no personal animosity with any of Murthehelp. She's just doing her job and saving her a**. She thinks she's great in her job,but she couldn’t bring the absolute horror. But Bale was the first threat that started all of this chaoes. Bale HIMSELF is the chaoes. He doesn’t care if he lives or dies,he only wants Jinaman to rot in hell at any cause. And this sort of madness with personal animosity was really necessary to keep the things tight till the end. I believe Bale and Kusanagi together could be a very powerful villain duo.
3.Q. Her introduction was powerful ngl. But as the episode proceeds,it started to get evident, she doesn’t use her brain much except in action sequence. So many things happened,she is a skilled assassin,she knows kusanagi and her nature, she got to know Bale and the grudge between Bale and J,she also saw how Jinman saved both of their lives before,a whole bus of people from Babylon got burned down to death......but nothing made her think something is going on inside Babylon behind her??? And after she got to know the truth,she just went back to her country instead of going after Kusanagi??? Girly was literally after Jinaman to avenge her brother, then why not Kusanagi????
4.Pasin. Oh God what should I even say about this storyline.... What madness possessed the makers to make one of the most loveable characters of the series a betrayer??? And also why could pasin communicate through writing or anything before the hidde camera was installed? Also that camera was blinking red right before our eyes ffs. And again...why was pasin's son so out in the open that Babylon could get him so easily? We know Pasin is Jinmans right hand man. Babylon went all out to find Jian when she didn’t even know anything. Now when Pasin is actively working,what made them think Babylon wont go after Pasin's weakness too????
I can't express it..but in the last scene when they all gathered watching Babylon getting destroyed...and Pasin and Brothers wasn’t there with them...it actually broke my heart. They did two of the strongest soldiers of season 1 did so dirty in this season! Specially Pasin, he really didnt deserve such ending!
This is why I always get skeptical whenever a very popular show gets a second season. Somehow the writers always forgets from where they started to,the motivations behind the characters and ruins the whole vibe. You're telling me,Jinman,who spent years creating the shopping mall with high level security,hiding it very much successfully from Babylon and Jian,made a whole act of him dying and came back after executing everything successfully....... Didn’t even understand the supposed "mole" that sending them emails were actually fake?????? Why is he so dumbed down in this season? How is Jian who wasn’t even present most of the time in Murthehelp suddenly made CEO, sent to negotiate with Babylon and gained nothing, failed miserably???
And till Bale was alive,there was always a personal animosity which was so thrilling to watch. Bale was THE chaoes in this story. That Q girl cant even hold a candle to Bale. She's dumb. And her boss Kusanagi is just like cosplaying joker. Trying so hard to play a scary crazy villainess but failing miserably.

I just hope You're right. I'm just afraid cause realistically, Jian has been out of this mess for quite a long time and they again grabbed her into this chaos. She still has a lot to learn,she still prioritises her emotions,thats why Jinman always has to remind her that dialogue " leave the hand thats already damaged,protect the remaining one". I hope they don't ruin her character in the final episodes by pulling some other stupid stunts.
I think the best thing the writers could do is to combine Kusanagi's skill with Bale's chaotic personality instead of killing Bale way too early. Now they don't even have some real personal threat instead of some stupid gunfight. Whole Q-J storyline and making Pasin a spy sounds unconvincing to me.
I also feel like all the girl characters are kind of dumbed down in this season. Both Jian and Minhye was fire on season 1...kinda miss them in this season. Even though they showed some character development of Jian in the negotiation part...but sending Jian who is still an amature instead of Jinman doesn’t make sense. And about the villains... The Q girl lacks brain,I'm telling you. She has no dialogue,no thinking process,just doing whatever she's told to do,no background check..... And of course Kusanagi...she belongs straight to mental asylum. Even Bale was far more scary,unpredictable and psychotic than her.
I sincerely don't believe Pasin would betray them that easily. He saw Jinman straight up went to Thailand to find Atti,he was the one that trained Minhye and Jian,how can he kill them or betray them??? Its more like the writing doesn’t make sense,Pasin could easily send them a note somehow to tell them there's a hidden camera and speaker inserted in his body,his sons life is in danger. Pasin is one of the most loveable characters in shop for killer,if he actually betrayes them,this is gonna cost huge for the popularity of the drama.
I feel really bad for Jian...poor girl got into all these mess only for Jinman...lost her parents, her childhood,her whole life got destroyed....now when she finally found peace again and someone like Woojin by her side...this Babylon showed up again!!!)

After finishing it,I really thought if kttph had enough budget,promo and a proper aged fml to avoid controversy, it could have the same level of fame as poj. It was even more intense than poj in terms of war scenes and palace politics imo.
Also, the voice actor for Xiao Wuyi deserves a round of applause. To be honest when it was announced HMH cant dub because of his health issues...it was really upsetting. Cause dubbing always plays a big role to make a drama enjoyable and the way minghao feels every emotions of his characters and dubs accordingly, a character like Xiao Wuyi definitely needed him. But I was surprised how much similar the voice actor sounded like him,sometimes I had to double check if its really minghao or not.
I'm on ep10 winning the horse racing with a blindfold on, was a big negative point for the drama in my opinion.…
Well...even though some of your points are completely valid....i'd say,you better keep watching. Cause i was also skeptical about the love triangle and most of the things you said....but the way they unfolded the story later without ruining the core of the characters, it was quite pleasantly surprising to me. So if you want...you can continue for some more epis.

Finally finished watching....loved it. A General who actually General-ed,not some pretty face only aura farming lol. Now I understand why HMH was so excited about this drama,this is actually well written, well paced and well acted. One of the best in HMH's career, ngl. And Aimi also did really good,I was worried about the age gap and how they would portray the relationship without being intense. Thankfully they did really good and Xiao Wuyi did carry the heavy burden by yearning and everything so it wasn’t uncomfortable to watch. Definitely worth watching.
