Here’s another one. Shin is actually a famous mafia leader, and our dude is working undercover for the Interpol. Shin can’t compromise his mafia dealings and doesn’t want to give Interpol his only weakness… [insert Godfather music].
Of course, Shin could be Interpol undercover and our dude could be mafia. Shin can’t compromise his mission and show his only weakness… [insert James Bond music] 🤦‍♀️😂

Well, maybe the dude is a secret agent from Shin’s dear homophobic grandpa and it’s pivotal for Shin to get the inheritance to start his own baking empire? 🤔

I think it’s rather about making Him miserable if he takes Nail away.

Seriously, I don’t get this “friendship” either. And it looks like they keep their hostility under wraps in front of their other friends, so Chao and the other guy just had a glimpse of it for the first time (at least it seems that way). If someone was that hellbent on making my life miserable I wouldn’t stick around - that’s for sure! 🤦‍♀️

Ok, I must’ve missed something here. Shin wants to keep his relationship with Peach a secret at work. I didn’t notice hordes of people there, though. From what I’ve seen so far, Shin’s only coworkers are Oab and Atom who both know about them. Who did I miss??? Mommy maybe? But she’s not working there, she seems like she is an owner or an investor 🤷‍♀️

I’m also interested in how they will get out of this idiotic situation with lying to everyone and what was that about “now I will become you” from Zee in the episode before this one? They never addressed it in this episode 🤷‍♀️

Right, he’d get hugged so tight wrestling he’d definitely fall in love with Sprite’s teammate! 😂 I don’t think he likes volleyball either. He’s just been doing it to please his mom. Nice tight hug is what he needs, he’ll love jiujitsu! 😻

Exactly! it’s not like Sprite’s really doing any favors to Zee with his performance (or rather lack of it)! It also floors me that not only his teammates but also his coach don’t question what happened to their star player’s skills all of a sudden! Like, the kids are more surprised with his lack of nastiness than lack of skills he’s been learning for a decade! 😂🤦‍♀️

I feel the same way about Sprite befriending everyone on the team. Yes, it will improve team’s morale and it will make it easier for Sprite, but he seems to be ignoring the fact that he’s lying to those guys and they’ve already been burnt by his bro. So when Zee comes back in all his nasty glory, the boys will be hurt twice more. The whole thing just doesn’t sit well with me. Especially adults instigating it and supporting it without Zee’s consent as he’s being impersonated. Sprite didn’t have much of a choice either, and he must be exhausted and his career can easily go down the drain, while his own parents don’t give two shits. I just don’t understand that. 🤷‍♀️

I think they just couldn’t get a hold of the cat’s owner in time for the shooting. If a cat was there, even being uncooperative, they would probably show at least a glimpse of it, going into “let’s play pretend with a fake cat” right after. That scene looked a bit awkward to me, but they did what they had to do 🤷‍♀️Maybe if they didn’t go with a pure white cat they could just run outside and grab any kitty, but locking themselves into that color brought limitations 🙀😂

I think both young/old pairs had lots of workshops to mimic each other’s mannerisms. But with young/old Soon I could actually believe it’s the same person. They both projected the same soft demeanor, kind and vulnerable personality. Young/old Ong-sa were also very recognizable and eager to protect Soon. That’s not easy to do, so all main actors were wonderful. 👏🏻

I guess I am one of those who loves this series. I also like older Soon a lot! I think he’s very handsome and his face, smile and eyes are so attractive to me! 😊
My only regret this episode is that they couldn’t get a hold of the cat for filming, so I couldn’t see them actually playing with it. That would be really cute! 😻

You’re right, with the divorce relationship can get messy, and yes, usually parents try to see their children no matter where they live. Life and relationships are definitely not all black and white, you’re right again! 😉
In the series, though, they can bring whatever tropes they want, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose for the twins to be fully estranged from each other and the other parent.
Exactly, because the show doesn’t give much of a background, I only can go by the feeling I get from the story so far. And my feeling is - the parents looked like they saw each other for the first time in years in that hospital room. Same feeling I got about the relationship (or lack of it) between the twins. Sprite was at least interested in Zee’s games on tv, while I haven’t seen Zee peeking into Sprite’s life at all. Again, I can only go by what they showed so far. So I might be completely wrong and they are best buddies behind the parents’ back 😂
