Nice episode! Just wanted to share my theory on our second couple. Honestly, I don’t even think Mon is Jen’s boyfriend. I think he’s either a relative or a friend who’s helping Jen get Jaab’s attention. I mean, who makes jokes about “catching feelings for me”, or “first hookup” with your “bro” while dating someone else? Why would it even be your “first” hookup? Wouldn’t your boyfriend be “it”? Then, Mon is conveniently “tied up with work” and will pick up Jen from Jaab’s apartment… Really? No jealousy at all? Okay, Mon 😉

Thank you 😊 It wasn’t on my radar. I like Gawin, but yeah, I wonder why Mike was recasted. Maybe he’ll be filming the continuation of ABAB with Yacht? That would be nice! 🤩

That’s sad. What series is that? I thought Krist didn’t want to do BL anymore? I mean, that’s his choice and I never blamed him, but I thought he was out of this genre… 🤷♀️ Meanwhile, Mike doesn’t seem to mind and he’s a good actor, why not give him a chance? 🥺
It happens in the US too. Some people get married very quickly, or one set of parents live in a different state…
Thank you for replying! 😊 Of course, circumstances are different for each family. I was wondering how often this particular circumstance happens in real life for those cultures. It’s one thing to not know your step-siblings well because you don’t live with them (normal for USA). It’s different, though, when out of blue your parent brings in a spouse and a child you knew nothing about. Even if they lived elsewhere and your kids can’t meet them in advance - I think it’s common sense to at least tell the kids that this will be happening. To keep them informed. With modern technology, maybe have an online meeting with the future spouse and stepkids. It would make things much easier in my opinion. Since I haven’t seen a trope like this in American movies, I was wondering if it’s really a common practice in Asian countries since this trope seems to be quite popular.
I thought he was just confused about getting one. Idk. Nothing made sense.
Exactly! I don’t know if they were going for Daddy/Boy type of relationship? But it was a bit too much for me - it made it harder to see them as a couple. Rather, big bro/little bro type with huge age difference. 🤷♀️

I can’t wait for Mike to have a decent, more serious role as a ML. I think the only time he had a partner was in Tonhon Cholantee, but he wasn’t in the MC and his couple was mostly a comedic relief.
I also looked at the book cover for Jack’s story, and maybe it’s my wishful thinking, but I think one of the guys has blue’ish hair… just saying… 😁

I don’t know - I mean, isn’t it normal for guys to have an erection since puberty? Especially when they are doing something as sexually pleasant as kissing their beloved partner? What’s so unexpected about it, when Tin is in his early 20s I think? I would think it would be unusual for a healthy young man to not have a boner in his crush’s presence, and I am not even talking about kissing him! 😂 Of course, I am not a man, I am just speaking from experience of dating men, so I might be totally wrong 🤷♀️ And from what I remember, Tin said that Park won’t think he’s cute anymore - that’s what creeped me out 🤦♀️
So it looks like Pao and Kana didn’t enjoy their “close encounter” all that much and decided to just stay friends, ha? Oh well, it happens, I guess 🤷♀️
So, basically, the parents dialogue from what I could decipher is close to: Dad1: - I don’t like your son. He made my son cry. Dad2: - I don’t like your son, either. He made my son cry, too. Mom1: - They broke up (🤷♀️)
I wonder if production company will continue with Jack’s story, pairing him with Yacht. I mean, why cast a popular actor as a random barista? Besides, in this episode Jack went to get coffee for the boss… Just a thought 😉
So, Joong/Dunk served fluff on steroids, but script had pretty much no plot, unfortunately.
I see there are several directors for this series, which is normal for an anthology format. So I guess each couple’s story will be a hit or miss. We’ll see 🍿
I like how you decided the announcement at the birthday dinner as what didn’t make sense and not the selective…
Sounds good! Let me know how you like it. I’m sure you’ll like some couples. This is one of my favorite series as they had different types of stories for each couple: “normal romance”, supernatural, “friends with benefits”, etc. I think they had different directors for each couple, so it’s definitely an interesting watch. I loved their wardrobe! That department should get a huge raise! Especially for MaxNat and ToruFirst couples! Nat looked amazing - like a fashion idol with streaks of femme, while First was drop dead gorgeous seductive type! I do believe you’ll like ToruFirst 😂

Watch Y Destiny. I don’t remember which episodes are his, but he’s hilarious there and so cute! I enjoyed Y Destiny overall, so even though 1st two episodes are not awesome in comparison to others (each 2 episodes cover a different couple), there are some fire episodes there! I think you’d love ToruFirst - they were literally on fire! 😻

Selective deafness and hearing voices are part of the universe they created. So if I was hellbent not to accept it as a background for the story I wouldn’t be watching it 🙀 Same goes for any series with a supernatural element - I just accept it from the get go as a background for the story. The little bro being a little brat is just a part of his character which hopefully will be developing throughout the story, so nothing unusual about it for me. Parents being complete idiots, though, is something that stood out to me like not making much sense 😉

Premise seems pretty interesting to me - maybe we could get some police procedural? Ok, I doubt I would get THAT lucky, but one can hope 😂
Dad1: - I don’t like your son. He made my son cry.
Dad2: - I don’t like your son, either. He made my son cry, too.
Mom1: - They broke up (🤷♀️)
Repeat Dad1/Dad2 three times
All: - Let’s support their love! 🥂
Did I miss anything? 😂
