I’m really glad to know you’re a novel reader and you feel that some things are off. bc I’m not a novel reader and I’m straight up confused by certain elements in this drama. confused and disappointed actually
midway thru ep 7. *DEEP SIGH* I gotta be honest. if it wasn’t for zlh and zjm, I’d prob drop this like a hot potato. first few episodes seemed promising maybe bc of the kids’ excellent acting and the conflict/misunderstanding between the leads. but now, the relationship seems to have progressed from outta thin air, leaving me rather confused. the drama didn’t invest enough time in the first few episodes to make us believe in their love.
The chemistry between cherry and her friends are also not quite there. It’s ALMOST there but it’s either the slightly awk acting or the lack of chemistry. This drama has no real conflict for me to invest in atm. Obstacles are shallow with no interesting plot. Truly not as captivating as I had hoped. I’m wondering if it’s all the cuts from 40 ep to 24 that didn’t allow for a deeper intro and understanding to the characters. Just sitting here hoping for better episodes at this point.

im getting good vibes from this drama. it’s odd bc technically, not much is happening- a true slice of life drama. and yet, here I am invested. I actually like this chemistry and story more than TPR
ZLH facecard is insane. This type of beauty should be illegal.
I was anticipating his onscreen appearance bc I knew he was gonna be super handsome. EVEN THOUGH I KNEW AND THOUGHT THAT, he still took my breath away. I felt warmth growing in my chest. his face card is indeed, absolute insanity.
